Grands!® Easy Taco Melts

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2012
They left out one very important ingredient.....a packet of taco seasoning mix. I saw this advertised on TV and looked up the recipe on Pillsbury's web site. The mix is listed there. These are very good and don't take that long to make. The hardest part for me was getting the biscuit's spread out to the six inches. LOL

Marinade for Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2012
This is a very good maranade. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Kicked up the seasonings a little and let the boneless chicken breasts maranade in the fridge for about 7 hours then grilled. Very good! Made a lot so I put chicken in a baggie and covered with maranade. Bottled the rest for later use. Thanks for a great recipe!

Berdean's Cube Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
I was a bit leary to try this because of the amoung of oil used. Only had 3 cube steaks so scaled recipe and used 1/4 cup oil. I did use the 1 tablespoon of beef boulion (Herbox) and used enough water to almost cover the steaks. I browned and baked in a cast iron pan covered with foil. WOW..we were pleasantly surprised at how good these were. Baked at 325 and they were fork tender in an hour. Not as greasy as I expected. Next time I might add a little flour to the gravy...maybe not. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Tomato Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2012
This was wonderful!! Like others, I laid my tomatoes and zucchini out on paper towels so they could drain of excess liquids. I sprayed the casserole dish with oilve oil, and instead of the topping called for..I mixed a litle italian bread crumbs and panko for the topping. Gave it a nice crunch andno butter. Thanks Deltaqueen..we will be making this a lot!!

Chinese Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2012
We really liked this roast. Had a one and a half pound roast and adjusted the recipe accordingly. Next time I will use a bigger roast so there are more left overs. May cut the water and soy sauce a little next time because it did make a lot of gravy/sauce. Thanks for posting.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2012
Thank you for this recipe...these meatballs are awesome! Love that they are baked instead of fried. I used ground turkey (what I had) and garlic powder instead of garlic salt because sea salt can be a bit over powering at times. Next time will triple recipe so I can freezed them. Thanks again!!

Golden Rum Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
Been making this rum cake for some time now. I use Bacardi Gold Rum, and after baking, invert onto a plate. I let it cool then add the glaze. When adding the glaze I insert a sharp knife, give a little twist and pour in some glaze. Then I procede to do that over the entire top of the cake. Gives it a nice drizzle down the sides and allows the glaze to go into the center of the cake. Very moist. Enjoy.

Tossed Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2011
I have been making this salad ever since it came out in the "Tate Of Homes" magazine many years ago. The only thing I do different is use red wine vinegar instead of white, UNLESS I am making this for my vegetarian friends, then I use Morningstar Farms Bacon...just as delicious.

Spinach Turkey Roll

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2011
This turned out very well for me. Both hubby and I liked it and will make it again. Hubby added a little salt because I forgot to add some to the mixture. Used Colemans Mustard instead of prepared, added more garlic and after patting the meatloaf mixture out on the wax paper, put it in the fridge till I was ready to add the spinach mixture and bake. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
This was very good. I baked it in a loaf pan (drained during baking) and it came out very moist. Cut back on W. sauce and hot sauce a lot due to personal tastes. Used ketchup becuse I didn't want to open a can of paste for just a tablespoon. Served with mashed taters, gravy and peas, Very nice meal and will be making again. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Oven Fried Chicken II

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
This is a very good recipe. I took the advise of someone else and prepped the chicken and let it sit in the fridge uncovered for an hour then baked it using 1/4 cup olive oil. Did add some granulated garlic to the flour and more pepper. The chicken came out very crispy and browned beautifuly. Yes, it tasted a lot like fried and much healthier. I will be using this recipe often and might even try it on chops....thank you for posting.

Easy Tilapia with Wine and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
I just love this recipe. It can be tweaked so many different ways and still come out great. I only used 1/2 cup of the white wine and drizzled the fish with oilve oil instead of using butter. I didn't have fresh tomatoes so used Rotelle's diced tomatoes with green chilis...spooned some over each fillet.....awesome. Too lazy to pull the grill out of storage so baked them in the oven at 425 for about 20 minutes, then checked and baked longer if needed. Thank you so much for this recipe. Will be making it often.
