Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
I'm completely lost on the negative reviews of this cookie. This is one of the easiest, tastiest cookies I have ever made. I didn't change a thing in the recipe with the exception of extending bake time by 5 minutes, and I found the cookie to be neither granular nor oily. My husband, who isn't a sweets fan but loves peanut butter, thought they were amazing, too. AND THEY WERE SO EASY! They could literally be thrown together and baked while getting ready for work if I ever need to bring something in on the fly. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
I've made this dish more times than I can count. It's so easy and quick, but tastes restaurant quality. I sometimes replace the tomatoes with the sun-dried variety, and also sometimes toss in some cooked shrimp towards the end.

Roast Pumpkin and Feta Risotto

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
Absolutely delicious meal! The only changes I made were to use chicken broth instead of vegetable broth, and to increase the broth by 50%. It came out creamy and flavorful. My husband was gushing, which made it well worth the time it took to make.

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
LOVE! This is so good. I make a couple changes when I prepare this: I make about 50% more dressing and add raisins. I've also used Splenda instead of sugar. Excellent with the BBQ Pork Sandwiches on rolls and Oven Potato Wedges (both from this site).

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
FANTASTIC! I used ground turkey instead of beef and added about 4 ounces of sliced mushrooms, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. LOVE IT!

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
This was okay. It definitely needed more cheese, as it was very plain tasting.

Excellent! We used regular grated ginger, but otherwise followed the recipe to the letter. My husband raved. Thanks!

Antipasto Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2007
Very good start. The changes I made were omitting the broccoli, adding sliced black olives, using (drained) diced tomatoes, and cutting back the olive oil and vinegar by half (the pasta would have been swimming in dressing otherwise). In the end, very tasty, if not exactly diet material!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
I'm not even really that into fish, but I made this for my husband. We both agreed it was one of the best fish meals we've ever had. And perfect for a hot summer night. Thank you so much!

Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2007
Soooo good! My husband and I absolutely devoured these. Of course, there was a little bit of a problem with making the coconut stick completely, but that is true of any coconut shrimp recipe. Overall, fantastic!

Very tasty. I would reccomend cutting the potatoes into slightly smaller wedges, but otherwise this recipe was great. Thanks!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2007
I'm sorry to say, but this was okay at best. Not bad, but I've made twice baked potatoes several times in the past that I enjoyed quite more, with fewer ingredients. I think I'll stick with the basics.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2007
SOOO good. I used chicken broth instead of beef (my husband doesn't eat beef) and cooked the pork on low for eight hours. It fell apart easily, and mixed with a thick smoky sauce, it was delicious. My husband (a good ol' southern boy) raved!

Maple Dill Carrots

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2007
My husband raved about these carrots, and I have to agree - they are wonderful! I disagree with those who said you need to cook the carrots first; they came out perfect for us just as directed. We had with ham steaks and mashed garlic red potatoes. Fantastic!

Chile Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2007
I've made this several times, and both my husband and I really enjoy it now. However, the first time I made it, I followed the recipe exactly and the pork dried out. Now I cook it for about 1/3 less time than indicated - fabulous over rice!

Chicken With Mushrooms

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2007
Very nice. I added cream of mushroom soup, as recommended by other reviewers, and also sauted the mushrooms in garlic and olive oil. I think it may have been very bland otherwise, but this way it was very good.

Easy and delicous! My husband and I had this for easter dinner (scaling down to 3 servings) and really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recipe!
