Emergency Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2012
It's chicken W/BBQ sauce on it. I thought the Wostershire & butter would change the BBQ sauce taste some....not really. It makes the sauce thinner & cooking it down so it thickend at the end is good, but all in all its chicken in BBQ sauce.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
It tasted just as corned beef & cabbage should to me. The husband wanted more vingar taste. What is "the seasoning packet"? The vegetables were very good. Crock pot would not fully close with all the raw contents. Once stuff cooked down it did, but was full! Usually cooking times are adjusted for us with crock pot use so the meat isn't super dry. This needed the full 8 hrs on low.

Super Easy Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: May 7, 2012
It was good. I had never had chicken & dumplings before. Its soup not thick like gravy. I thought it was thick....but really had no idea. Use a big pan as the buscuits do swell and take up room also the person who had the biscuits clump together must've dumped the cut, stuck together group all in at once. Make sure each biscuit piece is put in on individually.

Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork Shoulder

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
Excellent! Excellent! Reviews say strong vinegar taste -- not to me. I used 1/2 apple cider & 1/2 distilled vinegars Cooking time varies with slow cooker.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
Green peppers really should be used. The tanginess of the green pepper is needed. This recipe is solid. It has plenty of spice & flavor. It's nothing special though.

Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
Not bad! Good for a not same chocolate desert. One reviewer doubled using 2 cans peaches but only 1 with juice & 9x13 pan. I did that & it was perfect! I used probably 2 tbsp less butter and put 1 tsp each nutmeg & cinnamon in dry ingredients then 1tsp vanilla in the milk. Only use the self-rising flour, per reviewer and it was perfect! It cooked over an hour and got deep golden/brown.

Erica's Delicious Slow Cooker Beef Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
Made exactly per recipe. My slow cooker cooks hot - you may have to adjust cooking times. Very good!! Meat (beef roast) isn'y a pot roast so meat will be tender but not tender like a pot roast.

Laura's Unbelievable Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2012
My husband loved it! I used seasoned tomatos and seasoned the meat while it cooked with onion & garlic. I only had 1/2 a box of pasta. That seemed to be fine as the sauce wasn't thin. More pasta & it really woulld have been.

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Very good! I used Pepper Jack cheese for more kick. If this is even possible to say...it was too much cheese. I'll 1/2 it next time.

Easy Creamy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
Add the extra can of condensed soup. You'll be glad you did. The only alteration I made was an extra can of soup & onion soup mix (per nother reviewer for more flavor). I found it to excellent & I always found any slow cooker times to be based on you crock pot.

Southwest Pork and Bean Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
Extremely good & use of cooked pork. Longer marinating was better tasting for me. I served it as tortilla filling (like a burrito). (I did not heat or use cheese just sour cream.) It was primo!!

Grandma's Ground Beef Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2014
Very good! I personally, think spaghetti sauce would be too sweet. Waaaay, too much onion and I like alot of onion and I used probably what is considered a medium onion. DO NOT OVERCOOK NOODLES!!
