Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
EXTREMELY GOOD!! Marinate the fish the day before! Used strawberries instead of mango. If you make salsa the day before there's alot of (very tasty) juice in the salsa. If you do not, the obviously isn't. We served with rice.

Fabulous Fajitas

TRULY FABULOUS!! I thought it could use more seasoning. My husband thought there was plenty of seasoning. ??? Either way...extremely good recipe!

Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2011
I felt it sounded much better than it tasted. It seemed grossly under-seasoned to me. The recipes was fine, but nothing great.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
Dry. Couldn't taste topping at all. Not enough "sauce" per recipe. My potatoes were not done in 35 min, but were prepared according to reciped in oven 1.5 years old that runs hot.

Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
It's good. Per reviews, it is light. It is extremely easy to make. It's garllicy. If you don't about garlic, you'd need to reduce the amount. I liked it fine where my husband loved it.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2011
Green peppers really should be used. The tanginess of the green pepper is needed. This recipe is solid. It has plenty of spice & flavor. It's nothing special though.

Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork Shoulder

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
Excellent! Excellent! Reviews say strong vinegar taste -- not to me. I used 1/2 apple cider & 1/2 distilled vinegars Cooking time varies with slow cooker.

Southwest Pork and Bean Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
Extremely good & use of cooked pork. Longer marinating was better tasting for me. I served it as tortilla filling (like a burrito). (I did not heat or use cheese just sour cream.) It was primo!!

Pork Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
I thought this was REALLY good! I felt it could have used 1.5 cups of broth as I thought it could've been moister, but my spouse didn't. I only had to cook it an extra 10 minutes for fuuly cooked noodles. At 1 hour they were just about there.

Papa's Vinegar Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2011
Unless I'm missing something, you can't taste the vinegar execpt on outside pieces and it's NOT strong. I followed the recipe exactly. Both my husband & I felt the same way. Like another reviewer said, the vingar smell is very, very strong when boiling and after.

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
It tasted just as corned beef & cabbage should to me. The husband wanted more vingar taste. What is "the seasoning packet"? The vegetables were very good. Crock pot would not fully close with all the raw contents. Once stuff cooked down it did, but was full! Usually cooking times are adjusted for us with crock pot use so the meat isn't super dry. This needed the full 8 hrs on low.

Easy Creamy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
Add the extra can of condensed soup. You'll be glad you did. The only alteration I made was an extra can of soup & onion soup mix (per nother reviewer for more flavor). I found it to excellent & I always found any slow cooker times to be based on you crock pot.
