Very good. Followed as is. Do not over cook steak!! Cooked marinade is a great tasting 'sauce'.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs I

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2014
Always a crowd pleaser! I use frozen meatballs. The longer the sauce cooks down & meatballs glaze - the better they taste.

Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2013
Chia seeds have NO FLAVOR so some way to impart some flavor is sorely needed. Tapico-esque type of consistency.

Broccoli and Ramen Noodle Salad

This very good. I exclude the peanut but not seeds. Nice because it's not mayonnaise & can sit outside.

Sweet Corn Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2013
Good! It isn't dry & crumbly, nut I wouldn't say 'creamy'. Corn bread by nature is crumby.

Quite good! Used regular mayo & added frozen green peas [saw in restaurant]. Does taste like restaurant slaw.

Quick Ham Tetrazzini

Reviewed: May 13, 2013
Very basic. Good, but basic. Seemed to need a seasoning. [I don't know spices] I made the recipe exactly doubling the ham & peas as it seemed like it'd be alot of noodle if I didn't. Good thing! You need to. Again, good basic, filler recipe. Seems like it'd be good for a pickier eater who is ok with peas.

Mark's Quick Beef Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2013
Kind of bland really. I sauteed to beef with onions & peppers and made to rice with beef broth. I used plenty of salt and pepper but it needed seasoning. The spicy tomatoes did give some flavor but definitely not enough!

Karen's Salmon Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2013
Pretty good! Worth making. Not a bunch if weird ingredients. I used a whole container of grape tomatoes cut in half. Also, it's 4 single green onions, not 4 bunches. [Spouse claimed it read funny ??] Mayo soaks up so more is needed!! Adding dill weed or dijon would probably be good. I added double the pickles. Not dill, could be too sweet. Green onion is needed.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

longer they sit on in crock pot the more they glaze & better they are. I used pre-made meatballs. Sat in the fridge to thaw before putting in sauce.

Kielbasa and Veggies

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
Quite good actually! It's the lemon pepper! I did boil the potatos first. They weren't soft, but weren't hard either. I did because rice & potatos uncooked in recipes NEVER cooks for me.

Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
Not bad! Good for a not same chocolate desert. One reviewer doubled using 2 cans peaches but only 1 with juice & 9x13 pan. I did that & it was perfect! I used probably 2 tbsp less butter and put 1 tsp each nutmeg & cinnamon in dry ingredients then 1tsp vanilla in the milk. Only use the self-rising flour, per reviewer and it was perfect! It cooked over an hour and got deep golden/brown.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

By reading the reviews I expected something mind-blowingly good. It was mind blowing, but it is good. Quite good and definitely worth making. I made as is but did majorly lighten the salt. {a few good shakes}

Baked Maryland Lump Crab Cakes

It's a pretty good crab cake recipe. I'm near Baltimore & love a crab & kind of know a crab cake. Could've used alot more Old Bay in my opinion.
