My favorite things to cook
I like to cook a lot of things! I don't think I can really narrow it down. Mostly, I try to experiment with recipes I find in magazines and online - my options are limitless.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family never shared a specific cooking tradition - just recipes. Our favorite recipes include Hungarian chicken goulash, baked spaghetti casserole, and sticky spaghetti (also know as "stinky feet" among my family members).
My cooking triumphs
Any time someone compliments the food that I cook, or I perfect a dish!
My cooking tragedies
I set fire to my Grandma's kitchen in 2010 while trying to make a chicken cutlet for a sandwich. I attempted to splash water into a heated pan filled with vegetable oil to check if it was hot enough to start frying the breaded cutlet, but there was too much water on my fingertips and the pan burst into flames upon contact with the water. Luckily, the flames died down after a few moments and no one was hurt. ;-)
