Chocolate Chip Marble Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2002
These are good cookies, but... not the cookie for my family. They don't have that sweet tollhouse cookie taste to them. While it was fun to try something different, I won't be making them again.

Cottage Cheese Bread II

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2002
Be forewarned - this makes more than 1 & 1/2 lbs of bread! I have a 1 & 1/2 lb breadmaker, and the dough from this recipe grew over and down the sides of the pan. The bread that I was able to salvage was good - very light, fluffy and tasty. My family loved it. Unfortunately, it made such a huge mess in my breadmaker which took so long to clean up that I have a grudge against this recipe now.

Beth's Scalloped Cabbage

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2002
Next time I make this, I will double everything but the cabbage. We're not huge cabbage fans in my family, so the more cheesy crumbly topping, the better.

Absolutely Sinful Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2002
My husband really likes these cookies, especially the next day, when they are still chewy. I also enjoyed them, but they stuck to the baking sheets.

Seven Layer Dip I

This is a great recipe, fairly easy to make, and delicious to eat. My husband ate half of it in one sitting. I will make it again!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2002
This turkey turned out delicious! The butter made it juicy, the broth kept it moist, the seasoning was wonderful! Will be using this recipe again.

Double Peanut Butter Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2002
These were pretty good. My husband even liked them, and he's generally against anything different. They reminded me of peanut butter and honey sandwiches a little, but for me that's a good thing. :)

White Chili I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2002
YUM!!! This is good! My husband and I ate the entire pot. Okay, he ate most of it, but I ate my share too! This is delicious, and I actually used ground turkey, not having ground pork. But yum! What a good recipe!

Deep Dark Chocolate Cookies

Very rich, very awesome chocolate chocolate chip cookies. Great for chocaholics!!!! A fun addition is a teaspoon of peppermint extract. It makes them even better IMHO.

Spicy Honey Mustard Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2003
We really enjoyed this recipe. The pepper was great to us, but then, we like it hot! However, it took 2.5 hours for it to cook for our 2.25 lb roast so be advised it takes longer than it says.

Seared Scallops with Spicy Papaya Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
We really enjoyed this recipe, especially the sauce. I blended it up in my food processor to make it more like a salsa and that worked great for us. My husband has been using the leftovers in burritos, and thinks it is a great salsa flavor. Yummy!

Couscous with Dried Cherries

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
This is very good, but I think our family prefers curry flavored couscous. Thanks for a different variety idea though!

Goldy's Special Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2003
This is a good salad on the day you make it, but the next day the flavors of the onion were too strong and I didn't like it quite as much. I think it's a great salad when you have company and will probably make it again.
