Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2009
I have a big round platter that I use for this fantastic dip. I put the beans & sour cream mix the night before & chill it and then the following day add the other bits that we prefer. Super easy, versatile and very yummy! Never any left overs!

Glazed Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2007
We really enjoyed this recipe-and also use the method to cook other parts of chicken. Definitely cooking the wings/legs/thigh first before adding the sauce is best to cook off the fat to allow the sauce to stick to the chicken.

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2007
I cut up carrots, onions and potato and put on the bottom of the slow cooker. I then put in a shallot in the cavity of the chicken. I separated the skin from the breast meat and rubbed in garlic and a bit of seasoning salt. I seasoned the outside with paprika, pepper, more seasoning salt and placed on top of the veggies and away it cooked (about 8 hours)...everything turned out great! I made mashed potato (boiled up more potato)by adding the slow cooker potato's to the boiled potato's--had wonderful flavour! Definitely easy and will make again!

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2006
Wonderful cookies. My 2 year old "helped"--very easy to make. I cut the sugar down a little bit, and added more cinnamon. Use something to lift off the cookie sheet as they will fall apart. But once on the cooling rack, they crisp up very nicely and the middles are soft. House smells great!

Very Good and easy. Wonderful way to include fish in the diet. Just check that you don't over cook the salmon.
