Great beef stew recipe that we've made for company and everyone has loved it.

Banana Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2005
This was a great french toast recipe even without the bananas. I made a few slices with the bananas and a few without and they both were excellent. The banana filled slices were good but but I actually preferred the ones I made plain. I just added a little nutmeg and cinnamon and excluded the orange liqueur and zest and it came out fantastic. I will definitely make this recipe again.

Oven Pot Roast

This recipe is awesome!!! I actually used a normally tough cut of meat but using this recipe it still came out tender and moist. My wife and I loved this recipe and would recommend it to anyone.

This was a great recipe!!! My wife and I brought it to a pot-luck dinner and everyone loved the recipe. There is nothing I can say bad about the recipe.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2004
This recipe was all right but it didn't really impress me or my wife. It was nice because it did taste a lot fresher than the normal jarred sauce but it just didn't have enough flavor for us to make this too often. We used it over ravioli so maybe we'll try it on regular pasta next time.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2004
This was a great macaroni and cheese recipe. My wife and I loved the way the sour cream gave the cheese sauce a nice flavor. I used to make macaroni and cheese a little differently but this is the recipe that I will use from now on. If anyone wants to try a new macaroni and cheese recipe then this one is for you to try.

Garlic Ranch Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2004
This recipe is one of the best that my wife and I have tried in a long time. My wife is a very picky eater and doesn't like to many things so in order to have her enjoy grilled chicken I thought I'd give this recipe a try for a change. My wife and I loved the flavor of the ranch and basil. The flavor actually remains even after grilling it which doesn't always happen. Any time someone asks for a good grilled chicken recipe I always mention this one.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2004
This meatloaf was all right but it didn't impress me too much. The meatloaf had a funny flavor to it which I think had to do with the brown sugar. I really like trying new recipes but this is one that I probably won't make again.

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2003
I liked this recipe very much. The sauce that the cola and ketchup made smelled a lot like A-1 sauce which I like a lot. The pork chops came out tender, which is usually not an easy task when cooking pork chops, probably because I marinaded them in the sauce for about three hours before I cooked them. I will definitely make this recipe again.

Raspberry and Strawberry Buckle

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2003
This was a very good recipe but I didn't use neither raspberries nor strawberries, I used blueberries. The only suggestions I have to make is that when you're making the topping do not use a half cup of butter because the topping will come out too moist. I made several attempts at the topping until I realized that you only need to use a 1/4 cup of butter to get the right consistency for the topping. Also the recipe says to bake the buckle for an hour and fifteen minutes but you only need to bake it a little over an hour. Other than the few things I needed to change this was the best buckle recipe that I ever made.

Fettuccine Alfredo V

Reviewed: May 23, 2003
This is a very good recipe but I do recommend making a few changes to the original version. When my wife and I made this for the first time the sauce was far too cheesy and wasn't very creamy. If you cut the parmesan cheese in half it will make a much better sauce. Also we used light cream instead of heavy cream and it was still very good!!! We will make this recipe again.

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2003
This was a pretty good recipe but there were two major flaws with the recipe. One flaw was that the fudge is so creamy that it almost has a mushy consistency, and you can't leave it out for too long because it melts very easily. The second flaw was that it made so much that even after I gave most of it away I still ended up throwing some of it in the garbage. The fudge had a nice flavor but if you're looking for a normal peanut butter fudge recipe this recipe isn't for you.

Grilled Swordfish with Rosemary

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2002
I enjoyed the flavor of the swordfish but it wasn't the greatest. The swordfish itself came out very well and I'm not too familiar with fish recipes so I was happy with the results of this one. The lemon sauce gave the fish a nice taste but overall the meal was nothing I'd cook again. I don't really like fish too much so maybe that's a reason for me not wanting to cook this again. I can't complain about the recipe yet I was expecting a little more.

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2002
This is one of the best chicken recipes I've ever cooked. The chicken was very flavorful and extremely moist. If you're looking for a light chicken recipe this definitely isn't the recipe for you, but I have no complaints at all about how the chicken was done. I had quite a bit of the bread crumb mixture left over so I just save it and put it in the refrigerator for the next time I cook this recipe. I have nothing but great things to say about this recipe.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2002
This is a fantastic recipe!!! My girlfriend and I are pretty hard to please with new recipes but this one is great. The sauce and the apples give the pork chops a very nice flavor. It's relatively simple to make and we ingredients are basic so most people will have them in the cupboard. We will definitely make this recipe again.

Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2002
This had all the makings of a great recipe but fell a little short. My girlfriend and I love honey-mustard and chicken but this recipe tasted a little strange. We added a little less honey than it called for and a little less mustard. After the first few bites we adapted to its flavor but we probably won't make it again. It came out very tender and juicy we overall we weren't too happy with the results.
