I made this for a going away party and everyone, especially my cousin who ate almost 1/2 of it, LOVED it.
I read some of the other reviews and used 1/3c brown & 1/3c white sugar in addition to 1/3c powdered milk + 1c water for the 1c milk (I was curious as to what it'd taste like because I wasn't sure if I had powdered milk or creamer haha).
When I was mixing up the wet ingredients my 4yo & 5yo were eating the sugar so I added (probably, I eyeballed it) about another 1/4c or so of white sugar to replace what they had 'sampled'.
Since I was making it for a crowd I doubled the recipe and used a 9x13, baked at 400 for 35min, although 30min would have been a little better since the top was a little browner than I would have liked.
