Grill Dough

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2012
Best pizza dough I ever had - family gave it raves, too! I made small individual sizes for my grandkids and let them top their own. We then placed them back on the grill for a few minutes just to heat up and melt the cheese. This was a REAL WINNER!!

Country Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
This is a great soup but I needed to add water to make it "soupy". The flavors were great and it was a very hearty and comfort type meal. My husband was wild for it! I used a combination of regular cabbage and savoy cabbage (leftover ingredients from my stuffed cabbage) and it went over great!

Crunchy Oven Fried Tilapia

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
Excellent receipe! My husband and I have cut out eating fried food, so this was perfect! I am so-o-o tried of eating baked and broiled fish so that when I spotted this I was thrilled. Like another reviewer, I added garlic powder, onion powder and a little dried adobo to the cornmeal mix as well as fresh oregano and italian parsley with the basil. The flavor was amazing. I also used one whole egg with a little water mixed in instead of egg whites. My husband, who loves fish, went absolutely wild for this and wants me to try it on some bass that I have in the freezer. The taste is light, fresh and clean - a great receipe!

Eggplant Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2011
I HATE eggplant - until now. This was easy, affordable, and delicious! My Italian husband begs me to make stuffed eggplant but he's the only one who eats it! I tried this receipe and we both loved it because it's not extremely rich. I bought everything at the farmer's market and made it that night. The only thing I did different was to "sweat out"" the eggplant slices to get rid of some of the bitterness. This is a real keeper and I'll make it again real soon!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
OMG! This is one of the best cakes I've ever made. Like others, I used 4 oz of sour cream because I like the flavor. I also reduced the sugar to 2 1/2 cups. I also used an Angel Food pan, due to the large amount of batter. My husband came out to the kitchen and remarked that it was the largest pound cake he'd ever seen. Served it with strawberries and whipped cream, but love it plain as well. The outer crunch is a great texture combined with the moist softness of the inside. This pound cake blew our socks off!

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2011
Made these for Memorial Day picnic. Recipe was easy to follow and made the exact amount specified. I thought they were a bit dry, but I was a minority of one! Everyone loved both the cupcacke and the icing. I'll definitely make these again.
