As I welcome my newborn granddaughter, I'm reminded of the tragedy in Connecticut. It's hard to celebrate in the midst of such a horrid event. My family's hearts and prayers go out to the lost And the loved.
Our family Christmas party was this Saturday, December 15. As I was surrounded by all of my sisters, my brother, my father, and all of my nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews and soon to be a great great nephew, I couldn't help but want to hug each
and every one of them. I want to let all of them know how cherished they are in my life.
My son Eric and his wife Laura were present. Missing at the event was my son Alan, Crystal, Damien and our newest addition to our family little Miss Molly. Speaking of our new Miss Molly, pictures are followed as promised!
The past week, I enjoyed spending time with my son, my daughter-in-law, Damien, and my newest angel, Molly! Grandma got to hug, laugh, love, and take care of four of the most precious Gifts that one can receive!
The whole while, my Damien, kept requesting ... "Grandma can I come home with you?" Trying to make him understand, that I was staying with him for a week, for a change. Damiens response, was "grandma I want you to stay for ever."(not that Grandma didn't consider
the possibility... but then that "Grampa" factor kicks right in!) Of course I'm coming home... Grampa! but that's a comment every grandma in the world would love to hear!
With a heavy heart... although despite the circumstances, here's some happy Molly , Damien and family pictures for you all!
