Wonderful drawing! Nothing to make you feel better than a sweet child! Glad he has her to cheer him up. Hang in there, I know it is not easy. My husband admitted yesterday that you feel like the therapy isn't doing a thing but it must really work. His friend's wife had hers done and she quit therapy. She just had to have another operation to try to help her range of motion increase. Let Jim know so he will not want to quit. Much better to get it all over with now than have to endure more surgery later!

Terry-I am glad to see Jim smiling.Your little Audrie is so cute. As far as your drawing-what a wonderful talent to have. I love my little granddaughter to pieces. She always makes my day. Here's wishing you better days ahead!

She's really cute, right up there with my little doll and I don't say that casually. My little one is a self-styled fashionista, kinda scary actually, she really may have some talent there or in the arts. How old is she?

Thanks lela! That is truly the first itme he has smiled! I saw her carrying Elmo back to the bed room... then she came back down the hall to her room and grabbed a book...I knew what was next! I grabbed my camera and looked through the door... yep Audrie working her awesomeness!

Carol, Audrie is going to be two on the 29th of this month! Can you believe how fast they grow up? I want her to stay my little Angel!

Audrie does indeed possess awesomeness, T. She's gorgeous. Tell Jim to believe in therapy. When I broke my arm (NOTHING like he's going through) my therapist told me the most important thing was following my PT regimen at home, and that even so, I'd likely not get full recovery. She said kids barely even needs PT, but adults do, and most lose some function because they don't follow through enough at home. Following her advice gave me 99% recovery on range of motion for my hand and elbow, which counts as full use. Tell him to smile through the pain, and he'll be glad in the end. :)

Awwwww Thanks Duff! We may be getting the grandson In a few days ... the kids are moveing to Anderson! 'That's 45 min. closer to us! Yay! of course I offered to keep the little one during the move! Therapy is going a lot better! I swear he turned a corner on this thing (fingers crossed) on friday when Audrie was doing the care taking of PoP! Can't wait till Damien gets here!!!!!

About Me
I was a working mother of 2 boys! I didn't have much time for cooking... now that the boys are grown and on their own... I have been enjoying learning and appreciating the art of cooking. I started with a day of baking with my mother in law and I was hooked! Not to mention my new stepkids... what was two... now is four! Our family is growing we now have a grandson, Damien, and one on the way! My grandson loves his visits with Gramma and Grampa...We spend quality time in the kitchen snd chronical our visits here on AR!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! It is my therapy...I love to buy and read all types of recipe books ( call me old fashion ) but it's fun to pick out 1 recipe in a new book and try it the day I get the book!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My husband and I have great times cooking meals together! When the kids come to visit we let them request their menu of choice. Funny twist... my two boys request Jim's culinary feasts... Jim's two request Stepmom's dinner delights! Works out fine at the end of the day!
My cooking triumphs
Check out my pics, the wedding cake? It was my 1st attempt at a wedding cake... can you believe it... I still can't!
My cooking tragedies
so many... hard to pick just one! but isn't that the joy of cooking?
