Just had to post this pic!  Too funny... Yep that's my Jim!  All he wants to do now is watch some football!  I love my Santa!!!!

I had to get in on the fun! This is seriously funny to me!  The Santa head is a door hanger on my storm door! This is how we will greet all of our holiday visitors!

Haha! Cute! We got our tree yesterday and it's in the stand in the livingroom, but that's as far as we've gotten with it. I'm hoping to get the lights on and maybe some decorating tonight after dinner. We don't do any outside decorating - we're the only house on a deadend road, never saw the point.

MA, I haven't stopped laughing yet! I told Jim he has to greet all of our visitors this way! Santa is a door hanger... on my storm door.. He had to squat to make the head fit! I love that man of mine! He always makes me laugh!

Great pic Terry!! We're almost done with our decorating. I had to start almost a week ago as I have a lot of Christmas decorations - - and yes . . . the planes use us as a GPS for their trips over Florida. But I do love my trees and wreaths and garland and even the Grinch that stands guard in front of the bathroom . . . lol! We are the host house this year and festivities start next weekend - so must march on! Oh look . . the electric meter is not just humming - it's singing!!!

Your blogs are always so interesting and this one cracks me up! Love your sense of humor-both you and your hubby. Good job on the decorations. Looks very merry and ho ho ho. : )

Love it! I think I need a Santa door hanger--looks cute and fun. You have motivated me to get out the Christmas decorations.

Looks great, you are an inspiration, I at least will drag the stuff out of the storage closet today thanks to this encouragement. Think I will be spending some time stringing fresh cranberries to make a garland since no-one wanted me to cook them, if you get my drift Terry and Jim

You make me feel like a complete slacker! I will probably start to think about Christmas decorations around 12/10. I love your Santa!

About Me
I was a working mother of 2 boys! I didn't have much time for cooking... now that the boys are grown and on their own... I have been enjoying learning and appreciating the art of cooking. I started with a day of baking with my mother in law and I was hooked! Not to mention my new stepkids... what was two... now is four! Our family is growing we now have a grandson, Damien, and one on the way! My grandson loves his visits with Gramma and Grampa...We spend quality time in the kitchen snd chronical our visits here on AR!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! It is my therapy...I love to buy and read all types of recipe books ( call me old fashion ) but it's fun to pick out 1 recipe in a new book and try it the day I get the book!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My husband and I have great times cooking meals together! When the kids come to visit we let them request their menu of choice. Funny twist... my two boys request Jim's culinary feasts... Jim's two request Stepmom's dinner delights! Works out fine at the end of the day!
My cooking triumphs
Check out my pics, the wedding cake? It was my 1st attempt at a wedding cake... can you believe it... I still can't!
My cooking tragedies
so many... hard to pick just one! but isn't that the joy of cooking?
