WTG, Terry! 50 days, and I bet you're feeling great. Why stop counting? You're doing something that's really, really hard and it's right to take notice of it. Side note- I made a Kincaid cross-stitch for a dear friend once. No white space and lots of over-stitching with mylar (to get the "light"). Ha! NEVER AGAIN!

But the counting's the fun part! Though I think it's about time to switch to months :P Or at least weeks. The puzzle's really pretty! And he is evil with his lighting, or at least the home projects are.

My parents have a set of six smaller Kinkaid puzzles. They've had them for several years and have yet to take them out of the box because they know it's going to be a HUGE undertaking to put them together. Congratulations on your achievement! I don't have the patience for puzzles LOL!

Bsm, You bet! This one is going on the wall opposite the fam pic gallery in the hallway... after all they are the reason we have the opportunity to put our cigs away and the puzzle on the table! Thanks for the Idea!

I have a puzzle I want to put together----one of all kinds of green insects! I don't know when I'll get to it, but it's been waiting for me. Congrats on doing that puzzle. All those colors just fade one into another, so I get how much work you put into that one!

Marianne, get to it! At least it is not white kittens in a white basket sitting in a snow bank! Go for those green insects... we had a blast with this one!

I have 4 Thomas Kincaid prints. I would love to have a real one. Probably won't happen though.

About Me
I was a working mother of 2 boys! I didn't have much time for cooking... now that the boys are grown and on their own... I have been enjoying learning and appreciating the art of cooking. I started with a day of baking with my mother in law and I was hooked! Not to mention my new stepkids... what was two... now is four! Our family is growing we now have a grandson, Damien, and one on the way! My grandson loves his visits with Gramma and Grampa...We spend quality time in the kitchen snd chronical our visits here on AR!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! It is my therapy...I love to buy and read all types of recipe books ( call me old fashion ) but it's fun to pick out 1 recipe in a new book and try it the day I get the book!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My husband and I have great times cooking meals together! When the kids come to visit we let them request their menu of choice. Funny twist... my two boys request Jim's culinary feasts... Jim's two request Stepmom's dinner delights! Works out fine at the end of the day!
My cooking triumphs
Check out my pics, the wedding cake? It was my 1st attempt at a wedding cake... can you believe it... I still can't!
My cooking tragedies
so many... hard to pick just one! but isn't that the joy of cooking?
