I have always found that neighbors are closer than family... figuratively and literally!  They are more likely to help, cat sit, water the plants or walk the dog, when you are out of town!  You can count on them to call and ask how a proceedure  or test went that  week!  You all know what I'm sayin'!

We had a pleasant invite from my Angel's parents, Ronnie and Tiffany, tonight for dinner... Hamburger's and you guessed it...Hot Dogs!  ( we all know how I love my dogs!)  Obviously, being the great neighbors that they are, are very aware of that fact also!

Awesome cookout!

Now I also want to comment on my AR neighborhood!  What great neighbors I  have here on this site!

Just recently I recieved a Kopy cat recipe for White Castle burgers!  Stevie ...they were just perfect!  Converted the hubby, that was never a big fan... !

Thanks to all my great neighbors... here and at home!

I always think of this place like a big, comfortable, cozy kitchen We laugh together, cry together, celebrate, worry, ask after parents and children, ask advice, give advice and in between we may cook something!

It is always great when some of the newbies find The Buzz and join in. I still feel pretty new there after a year or so, but everyone surely makes you feel so comfortable. It is a great place to spend some time and learn a LOT about cooking and baking!! And the more people who join in there,,,, well, the more tips we will all learn along the way!! You are correct. We are born into our families,,,, we choose our friends!

OMG, Terry, sorry I didn't check back in earlier... but I'm happy to help out! We sure enjoyed them (and short of the "bun" issue,) I'm dying to make a "full" batch soon... apparently they do freeze well... at least WC does! And what a great snack they would make! thanks for mentioning it!

About Me
I was a working mother of 2 boys! I didn't have much time for cooking... now that the boys are grown and on their own... I have been enjoying learning and appreciating the art of cooking. I started with a day of baking with my mother in law and I was hooked! Not to mention my new stepkids... what was two... now is four! Our family is growing we now have a grandson, Damien, and one on the way! My grandson loves his visits with Gramma and Grampa...We spend quality time in the kitchen snd chronical our visits here on AR!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! It is my therapy...I love to buy and read all types of recipe books ( call me old fashion ) but it's fun to pick out 1 recipe in a new book and try it the day I get the book!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My husband and I have great times cooking meals together! When the kids come to visit we let them request their menu of choice. Funny twist... my two boys request Jim's culinary feasts... Jim's two request Stepmom's dinner delights! Works out fine at the end of the day!
My cooking triumphs
Check out my pics, the wedding cake? It was my 1st attempt at a wedding cake... can you believe it... I still can't!
My cooking tragedies
so many... hard to pick just one! but isn't that the joy of cooking?
