Absolute Best Pancake Syrup

Reviewed: May 14, 2015
With this recipe as with most you have to account for taste sensitivity. I personally am extremely sensitive to the taste of baking powder. (Very bitter to me) Keeping that in mind when making this. If you need more cinnamon add it, use less if not to your taste, same with the sugar and butter and you can even get by with a little less baking soda. You get best results using real buttermilk, you will have a thicker syrup. This is a naturally thin syrup but it packs a punch so you don't need it to be thick. This is a great recipe and my family uses it on everything and it does make toast taste like a cinnamon roll. I get requests for the recipe constantly.

Unbelievable Rolls

Reviewed: May 4, 2015
The first time I tried this recipe I did something wrong and my rolls came out more like a biscuit. I knew from reading the reviews it was my fault. I don't have a mixer to mix the dough and had to do it by hand. I figured this is where I went wrong. Went on you tube and watched a few videos to see what the dough should look like when coming off the dough hooks and to see how long the dough was kneaded. I tried the recipe again today and using my new found knowledge. Everything came out perfect this time. The rolls were light and fluffy with incredible taste. I made cinnamon rolls, a strawberry cream cheese braid, and dinner roll and a couple of cheese danish all with one batch of this recipe. I used an egg wash on the bread and it all came out beautiful. This one is a keeper.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2015
This was incredible. I used A&W rootbeer, and two pork roasts since I could fit two in my crock pot. Covered with the soda and nothing else. Cooked on low for about 8 hours. The meat had a pretty good taste. After it cooled I drained the rootbeer and pulled the pork apart. I then mixed in about 1/4 cup of liquid smoke and some garlic powder. I let set in the fridge overnight and put back on low. After the meat was warmed I added two bottles of Sweet Baby Ray's sauce. I gave it a little taste and wasn't all that impressed. I usually use KC Masterpiece. I let the flavors marry for a couple of hours on low and Wow!!!! what a happy marriage it was. The sauce and the pork came together in a fantastic taste explosion. It was the best I have ever tasted. Big hit with the family, even my daughter who hates bbq sauce on pulled pork, loved it. Try this recipe and you won't be sorry.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2012
Just tried this recipe, I used cream of chicken rather than the mushroom. Came out perfect and was enjoyed immensely by the family. I will be making this one again. Thank you teppij for sharing.
