Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
I made this recipe as follows and it was not as moist as I expected it to be based on the other reviews. I made a second batch and doubled the recipe and added 1 can of crushed pineapple (undrained) and it turned out marvelous. I prefer my dessert breads very moist and this certainly did the trick. I gave mini loaves as thank you gift and people gave great compliments.

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2007
Made this recipe for my office Halloween party and it was a big hit. I did not have pumkpin spice so I used trader joes chai mix (2 teas.)instead and it turned out wonderful. I also added the vanilla. This is quick, easy, light and lowfat. Can't wait to make it for the holiday!

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2003
This recipe as is I would not have enjoyed however I took the basis and added my own ingredients. I first used monteray jack instead of feta because I don't like it. Then to the spinach mix I added chopped onion and mushroom as well as chopped bacon instead of wrapping the chicken in bacon. Once the chicken was cooked I topped it with a bernaise sauce. It was very rich and flavorful. Everyone loved it.

Beer Bread II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2003
I'm not sure what happend. Maybe it was the beer I used. I expected this bread to be very flavorful. It turned out very bland and did not have a good taste at all.

Asiago Dip with Crostini

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2003
I felt this recipes had a little too much of a mayo taste and I could not find the sun dried tomato sprinkles and had to use bagged sun dried tomatoes which I cut up in pieces. They didn't give much flavor and I really wish I could find the dried sprinkles. I also served it with fresh pita bread and overall it had a good taste. I rarely had leftovers

Brownies with Peanut Butter Fudge Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2003
These brownies had a good taste but they were not good for presentations sake. They were extremely hard to cut and very gooey. These are great if you are making them for your family and keeping them at home but I acutally made them to take to a party and ended up having to take something else because they just looked too sloppy.

Apple Loaf

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2003
Overall this has a good taste, however I found it to be a little dry. Like some of the other reviews I also added cinnamon and if I made this again I would use more apples for more moisture.

Raspberry Tilapia

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2003
This was the worst recipe of anything I have ever made from this website. I could barely stand the smell of this cooking but thought i'd try. One bite was enough for me. Vinegar and fish...just wasn't a good combo

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2002
I made this as an appetizer for my parents they loved it! I even added a little crabmeat to the top when I baked it. It was fabulous. How dare they charge so much in a restaurant when you order from their menu!
