I love food. I think about it and read about it all the time. I watch it on tv more than any other programming. I'd rather read a food magazine than a fashion magazine any day. I have many many cookbooks but I very rarely ever cook from them! I enjoy going to food shows/exhibitions and experiencing ethnic restaurants. Its getting disappointing though to go out for dinner and think that I can do a better job... I like to bake/roast meat and vegetables in the oven together for a simple tasty meal. I make Tourtiere every Dec. 24th for my fiance and my son. Growing up Christmas always meant cabbage rolls. I try to entice my mother to make them so that I can learn but of course mine will never be as good as hers. According to my husband and son I have them often, but I don't really think so...
