Cantonese Dinner

Royal Icing I

First time followed amounts and had to add a lot more powdered sugar. Second time halfed the egg whites and simply kept adding sugar till I got the thickness I wanted. Love how fast it hardens.

Marshmallow Fondant

Have used this recipe a few times now. Better and cheaper than store bought! This recipe saved me while working on a Wedding Cake. Long story short, everyone loves it and I will NEVER use store bought fondant again.

Elk Chili

Good recipe, even picky kids ate it! Only got for stars because I would have liked a bit more flavor and spice, but that can be adjusted next time. Love that it didn't make a ton. Just enough for dinner and lunch the next day.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

I don't like banana bread but was told by everyone how great this was. Adding a crumble topping like other reviewers suggested gave it an extra something special. I also cut the recipe in half (only had enough bananas for half) and increased the baking time a bit. A keeper!

Spinach and Pasta Shells

First time trying spinach with pasta and turned out wonderfull. Was worried that without a sauce it wouldn't be good, but turned out light a fresh. Added diced tomatoes, chicken and parm cheese.

Tater Tot Bake

Added a can of corn to the ground beef after it was cooked, otherwise stuck to the recipe. Kids loved it! Very easy, and all the ingredients are items we just happen to have on hand. Will make it again.

Ranch Ham Roll-Ups

These were a huge hit at my last party. Very easy to make. However they did not make as many as the recipe said. I used double the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla because 3 tablespoons didn't seem to be enough. Will make again.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

This was a huge hit this 4th of July! I added two more cups of the strawberries and the rhubarb. Also used wheat flour and splenda sugars and nobody had a clue.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

This will be my "go to" chocolate chip recipie! only change next time may be to add some cinnamon. Super good and makes a ton so you can share.
