California Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2006
Not bad. I used a can of diced tomatoes with onion and garlic for a little more flavor and sauce. My husband thought it was still too dry.

Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2006
I was a little hesitant about this recipe, but I had all of the ingredients on hand, so I gave it a try. It was SO good! I was scared about adding the pepper, but it gave it a nice little zing.

Ground Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2005
This was pretty good. I added onions, garlic, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to the turkey per others suggestions. Make sure your cream cheese has softened or it will be chunky.

Iced Tea III

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2005
This is so good! It's nice and refreshing. It tastes a lot like the tea/lemonade mix you buy at the store.

Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2005
This turned out great! I was a little worried at first because I used 2% milk and the milk/sugar/egg mix never got really thick, but it turned out fine.

Stuffed Yellow Squash

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2005
These were pretty good. I didn't have any green onions or bell peppers, so I used yellow onion. To cut down the cooking time, I diced the raw bacon and cooked it and the onions together. They looked very pretty!

Vanilla and Chocolate Delight

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2005
Everybody liked this at the Fourth of July party I went to. It is really rich and filling. I grated a chocolate bar over the top instead of the crumbled candy.

Asian Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2005
I loved this recipe, but I have to give it 4 starts because my picky husband did not. I used the prepackaged cole slaw mix to save time.

Texas BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2005
This was pretty good. The sauce had a tangy flavor. I left the chicken breasts whole and spooned more sauce over them before serving. Next time I'll try marinating them.

Macaroni and Tuna Fish Salad

Reviewed: May 16, 2005
This was pretty good. I added cheese to mine for a little more flavor. I think it was better the next day when the flavors had time to blend.

Mocha Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2005
I brought these into work and everyone loved them! I was worried that they would be too rich, but no one noticed the coffee flavor until I told them that it was in there. They just thought they were chocolate cookies.

Cafeteria Carrot Souffle

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2005
We were kind of iffy on this recipe. The taste wasn't bad ~ it was nice and sweet ~ but the texture and appearance weren't that great. It might have been better if I had used more carrots, but I won't be making it again to find out.

I made this as is and it was so good! It was a little thin and I think I'll try it with a banana sometime too.
