Pesto Pizza

This pizza is delicious! I used homemade pesto and homemade pizza crust. I felt there was too much feta on the pizza, however, so next time I may cut the amount of cheese. This pizza does take some time to make if you have to chop up fresh veggies, so I wouldn't be able to make it on a weeknight. It was fine for a weekend meal.

Vegetarian Korma

This recipe has what I consider authentic Indian taste. I followed the advice of previous reviewers and cooked the potatoes and carrots longer. Instead of heavy cream I used some light sour cream mixed with a little water - more like a yogurt consistency. I added some garam masala, a little cumin and some cinnamon, but otherwise this recipe has great flavor on its own. I served it with chapathi bread (like naan) and jasmine ricee. Great meal!

Horseradish Sauce

This is the best horseradish sauce I have ever tried. This is my go-to recipe for leftover roast beef for sandwiches. YUM!

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

I made this roast in the crockpot (as suggested by a previous reviewer), and it turned out to be part of a simple, delicious meal. I used half the kosher salt, as some previous reviewers recommended. I also started with a frozen roast and placed it atop foil balls in the crockpot so it wouldn't sit in its own juices (fat). I served this with baked potatoes, sliced carrots and green beans. The leftovers will make great roast beef sandwiches with horseradish sauce!

Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce

Wow, this was super easy AND tasted just like I thought enchilada sauce should. I will definitely use this recipe again. I always have tomato sauce around, but I don't always have enchilada sauce when I feel like cooking a Mexican-style dish. I made chicken & cheese enchiladas using this sauce. Delicious!

Inside-Out Manicotti

This is one of my favorite recipes. I use a jar of my father's canned tomatoes, and it's just perfect. This dish tastes even better the next day, so it would be a great dish to make ahead & freeze for later.

Greek Bifteki

I decided to try this recipe because of how much I like feta cheese, but I was not at all impressed. Like another reviewer said, you could hardly taste the feta inside the burger. I also thought the thyme was a bit overwhelming. I make way better hamburgers than this on a regular basis, so I will not be making this recipe again. My boyfriend said he liked it, but he was putting BBQ sauce on it!

Veggie Lasagna Florentine

This recipe has all the perfect ingredients, but it's a good thing I read the reviews before I went ahead with the preparations! Once I figured out the amounts of everything I needed, I ended up with a very delicious meal! I will definitely make this again, including the adaptations I made.

Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

This is a great recipe. I added some thinly sliced zucchini and cooked it with the tomatoes --it was perfect, because my boyfriend doesn't really care for shrimp, but he still had a filling meal with the zucchini there. I also used canned tomatoes, only because I didn't have any fresh ones. I also think that this recipe would still be great without the shrimp, but I will use it if I have some in the freezer. Next time I might also add black olives with the zucchini, as some other reviewers suggested. The white cooking wine really made this an especially good meal.

Rice with Black Beans

This is an excellent recipe! I used canned tomatoes from my dad's garden, as well as real rice, and I served it in soft tortilla shells with a little cheddar cheese. My boyfriend also ate this with some white corn chips and the cheese, and he loved it, too! I highly recommend this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Blooming Onion

After seeing a commercial on TV for the Outback Steakhouse, I got a craving for their Bloomin' Onion. This recipie was absolutely perfect! I made onion rings based on others' reviews, so it was easy and delicious! The dipping sauce is also just what I was looking for. My boyfriend wants to keep it around for dipping other foods, too. Thanks!
