Excellent Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
Yuuuuuuummy! I read through lots of reviews before making it, and I took the advice of the person that submitted the recipe and added more butter and flour to make it thicker. I scaled the recipe down to 6 servings and added 1/2 c butter and 1/2 c flour. I also used all cheddar and no processed, and added lots of it. Came out delicious!!!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
These were so easy to make! I chose to follow a mix of recommendations and used 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate (ghirardelli) and 4 oz bittersweet. I think any kind would taste delicious though. I used the two tbsp of shortening as well. I didn't have double boiler so I used a pot with a mixing bowl. Once I melted the chocolate, I kept the bowl over the water, but lowered the heat and I had absolutely no problem with the chocolate clumping up. Also, I added some Canola Oil to the white chocolate and it made it much easier to drizzle with an icing tip. Love it and so easy to make!

Very Chocolate Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2014
O. M. G. This is amazing! I made it twice. The first time I used Hersheys special dark cocoa and ghiardelli dark chocolate. It was delicious. The second time I followed the directions exactly, except I used ghiardelli sweet ground instead of unsweetened cocoa, and it was also amazing. After I took it out of the ice cream maker, I drizzled melted chocolate (semi sweet, but you can use any) slowly into the ice cream while whisking it. It hardens like the chocolate does in stracciatella gelato and I really can't stress how good it tastes. Little bits of thin flaky chocolate. Yuuum. You would never know this ice cream is homemade. Not sure why people had trouble with it hardening. I didn't have issues either time I made it.

Slow Cooker Chicken Creole

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
I absolutely loved this dish! The first time I made it I added the tomato paste as some uses had suggested. The second time, I forgot, but it was still just as good. I mixed with with some instant white rice and it was delicious!

Italian Rib Eye

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2013
This was so easy and DELICIOUS! I decided last minute to spice up my steak, so I actually didn't have any of the fresh herbs. Everything I used was dried, but it still tasted amazing. Will get fresh herbs next time.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
I've made this dish 3 times so far, and each time it is absolutely delicious. Two of the times that I made it, I baked the potatoes. I didn't have enough time to do last time, so I microwaved them. I don't remember how long, but my microwave has a potato setting. It tasted just as good as the other two times. Sooooo good!

Pesto Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2012
This was so delicious! I will absolutley make this again. I used premade pizza dough just to make it easier and left out the mushrooms since I don't usually eat them. I also added sliced tomatoes on top. So. Good.
