Lit'l Smokies® Mummy Dogs

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
A little time consuming but well worth it. Served at a halloween party and my kids loved these and preferred over pizza! They were so cute! I used the all beef smokies.

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: May 1, 2003
Great recipie! Everyone loved it. I used all lowfat ingredients with great results. I omitted the strawberry glaze as suggested by others and pureed fresh stawberries with a little sugar for the "glaze", topped with sliced stawberries and it tasted great! I've made it twice so far.

Pineapple Fried Rice II

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
I didn't have the exact ingredients such as soy, green onions, and white pepper. I instead used teriyaki, dried chives, and a litttle black pepper. It was still very good so I am looking forward to making this dish correctly. Thanks!

Best London Broil Ever!

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2006
Very tasty. I added my own spices and water as another reviewer suggested. The meat looked dry, but was actually very tender for such a lean piece of meat. My husband really liked it. Will make again.

These were wonderful! I doubled recipe for 9x9 pan and brownies were nice and thick. Since I doubled it I used 3/4 c melted unsalted butter and 1/4 cup oil. Added a handful of chocolate chips to batter and baked until soft crumbs came off on the toothpick. Awesome recipe!

Oklahoma Brisket

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2013
I never had brisket before and was quite nervous to make it for my guests. I followed the recipe exactly except I used apple juice instead of apple cider since I didn't have any. Served on buns and spooned BBQ sauce on top. It was so tender and delicious. Everyone loved it. They all preferred the recipe's BBQ sauce over the bottled sauce I also put out. Definite keeper!

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
This was a great and easy dish even though I had to improvise since I didn't have all the ingredients. I used a precooked roaster chicken since the recipe didn't specify how to cook the chicken. All I had was cheddar cheese (2 cups) so I also added a can of nacho cheese soup to the cream of chicken soup mixture. I forgot to add the sour cream to the mix so I spread it over the top of the enchiladas followed by shredded cheddar. It was so yummy! I can't wait to make it the correct way that the recipe calls for. Thanks!

Festive Turkey Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
These were delicious! I had to make a few changes since I did not have all the ingredients. I used 1/4 t onion powder in place of onion and 1/4 t of ground cumin in place of curry powder. I increased salt to 1/4 t since ground turkey is usually bland. I also went a little lighter in the ginger since I am not a big fan of it. There was ALOT of sauce so I will cut it in half next time. I served with rice pilaf and steamed baby broccoli. I will definately make again as a main dish and appetizer. Thanks for the great recipe!
