The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2010
These cookies looked and tasted great! Only problem is the stickiness of the dough. I let it chill overnight in my fridge, but after taking it out, it softened up very quickly and became super sticky and hard to manage. I put some flour on the tinfoil (because I was out of parchment paper) to help with the sticking. All of my friends loved it, tasted amazing (I added a bit more vanilla). Would have given 5 out of 5 if it weren't for the stickiness, which was very time consuming.

Fortune Cookies So Easy

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
It's probably not the recipe's fault, but out of the 36 this was supposed to make, I only managed to shape 4 (using about half of the batter). You've got to work REALLY fast. Also, grease like crazy!!! The main reason why mine failed was because it stuck to the sheet (I used tinfoil with butter, so I'm not sure how it would be different with parchment paper or whatever). They are REALLY hot coming out of the oven, so be careful! I ended up using a spatula to hold the edge down when I folded it. Good luck, but be sure that you know how hard and frustrating this recipe is!

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
SO GOOD!! Very moist and fudgy. The *perfect* brownie!! I baked for 25 minutes and it came out perfect. Couldn't stop eating. It was so easy, and I'm only twelve! My mom, who doesn't normally like chocolate, ate like half of the dish! Very good!

Meat Filled Manicotti

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
Amazing! This was my first time making manicotti and it turned out fantabulously. Instead of boiling the manicotti, I boiled water, placed manicotti in, and took it off the stove to make it easier to stuff. I just stuffed it with my fingers; it was very easy. I also used mild Italian sausage in place of beef which gave it a nice flavor. All in all, a great recipe!

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
Lovely mashed potatoes. I made these for Thanksgiving and they were a hit! The flavor wasn't very strong though, that would be something I would change next time.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
FANTASTIC muffins. The only thing is that it seems to be very oily - even though I used muffin liners they were soaked through with oil, even though there is very little in the recipe. LOVED them though.
