I have used this recipe so many times and every time it comes out perfect! I've even added 1 tsp garlic and 2 tsp onion powder to use it for Italian night! The best tip? My mom always saved her potato water to use in her from-scratch bread she made every Saturday when we were kids, and if you cook your potatoes a "little" longer, then your potato water is a "little" thicker too, so use a little MORE, but boy does that make it great! I have used this for bread, rolls, cinammon rolls, bierocks, and it is always perfect!!!! Try again if you didn't like it the first time, cause I bet you accidentally did something wrong!!!
