Pumpkin Muffins II

I followed this recipe to a T except that I used canned pumpkin puree. There is way too much spice in these muffins and the flavor almost burns your tongue. The aroma is wonderful, but the spice is overwhelming and I could not taste any pumpkin. The muffins rose to a beautiful peak and I topped with a streusel topping. I will half the nutmeg and add a little ginger.

Ham Balls

Very good, old fashioned Ham Balls. Yes, the sauce is sweet and the graham crackers in the meat balls work well. Wonderful served with a mustard sauce on the side. A family favorite.

Amish White Bread

Have made this recipe twice and it seems fool proof! I took the advise of several, weighed the flour (762 grams), used 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tbsp yeast and used bread flour. The dough raised FAST and the loaves raised FAST and I had beautiful tall, loaves of bread. There was no heaviness or coarseness. This bread is light as air and perfect for sandwiches... or warm with butter. 10 stars!!!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
