Sausage Stuffed Jalapenos

These were amazing! I had never made stuffed jalapenos at home before. I found out that gloves are a must when working with a lot of jalapenos ... my hands were on fire when we were done eating them. I used a spoon to scrap the seeds out so I'm sure the extra juice from that didn't help. I only had 4 ounces of cream cheese so I added shredded mozzerella along with the parmesan. I topped some of them with a drizzle of ranch dressing. They were a huge hit with the fam and I have been asked to make them again this week.

Garlic Roasted Chicken and Potatoes

Another fabulous recipe from this site. I added a chopped green bell pepper and an onion. I didn't have whole garlic cloves so I went with a couple tablespoons of minced garlic instead. I also went with chicken breasts cut into chunks. I'll double the sauce next time because everyone loved it so much.

Authentic Mexican Breakfast Tacos

Love these! I've been making them for years. I have found we like it better in a flour tortilla instead of corn. But it's fabulous either way. And adding onions and green peppers also gives this a flavor boost.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

I didn't have Italian dressing so I added ketchup, brown sugar, Worchestershire sauce and mustard along with some spices. Cooked it for about 5 hours or so and served on hoggie rolls with potato salad. It turned out fabulously and everyone loved it.

Chicken Broccoli Supper

This was so good and got rave reviews. I needed to feed six and I didn't have cream of chicken so I went with cream of mushroom family size and added a little milk. I also added peas and a small diced onion. This recipe is a keeper.

The Best Potato Salad

I'm not a potato salad person but this recipe is one that I really liked. I made this at the last moment to serve with slow cooked barbeque chicken (Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue). It was good but ended up being 10 times better the next day. I didn't have relish so I chopped up some pickled cucumbers (Adrienne's Cucumber Salad) and added red and green bell peppers to it also. I will be making this again and have already shared it with family.

Poke Cake II

Great recipe and so easy to make! I've made this before with a raspberry jello and this time it was made with lemon jello. I used the jumbo sized jello mix and it covered the whole 9X13 cake. It was covered with a powder sugar, cool whip and cream cheese frosting.

Easy Guacamole

First time making guac at home and it turned out fabulous! Even DD liked it and gave it a 4. I made mine a half mash and left some chunks in it. It was served this with homemade corn torilla chips. Yum!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Super easy to make and they taste great ... what more could you want. I wanted cookies but didn't want to make them from scratch and take a long time mixing. This was the perfect solution. I only had butter cake mix so that's what I went with. I made some cookies bigger and lighter in color than others. I like my cookies small and more of a caramel color and DD likes them super big and barely golden. A win win for both of us.

I started off making this recipe as written but it went in a whole different direction because I didn't have tomato sauce so I used cream of mushroom. I also used ground turkey and cooked brown rice. I had leftover rice so I added that to the soup and put the meatballs on top. Cooked as directed. It was fabulous! I'll have to try this one again but with the tomato sauce next time around.

Skinny Fries

I made these into bite size chunks instead of fries. I ended up cooking them for about an hour and a half. They tasted great and DD said they were the best I've ever made. I usually just spray the potatoes with cooking spray or coat with a little bit of oil. I only had margarine but that did the trick. I will be making this again using others reqs about soaking them first.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

I thought this recipe was really good. It's a keeper for me. I didn't have saltine crackers so I ended up using crushed croutons instead. I also used ground turkey and added garlic. I've never added milk to meatloaf or made the sauce in the bottom of the pan but it tasted great. And after dishing it up I put the extra sauce over the top.

BBQ Chili Pasta

I wasn't sure how BBQ pasta would be but I wanted to try something a little different but not wildly so nobody would try it. I used a whole can (26 oz) of spaghetti sauce and a full cup of BBQ sauce because I like a saucy pasta sauce. Rainbow rotini, red bell pepper, a pound of ground turkey and some crush red pepper were the other changes I made. We all went back for seconds and I was asked to make it again soon. Def a keeper!

E-Z Drop Biscuits

Great biscuits! They were very light and fluffy. I made them with water because I ran out of milk. Will try them again with milk next time around. I also made some lighter and some with a little more color for those of us who like them darker. Just add a tab of butter and they were perfect.

I loved this recipe! It's a total keeper. This was the first time I made it and served it with corned beef for St. Patrick's Day. I didn't have bacon but used some of the corned beef fat to saute the cabbage and onions. It worked out great.

This was so good. I doubled the sauce as other reviewers suggested using a tomato sauce with chunky veggies in it and a mix of white vinegar and rice vinegar. Will def make it again!

Crazy Cake

Great cake recipe! I’ve been using this one for every holiday or family party I’ve gone to for the last year. I was looking for something my nephew (who is 4 and allergic to nuts, soy and milk) could have. I changed the oil to canola and everything else was good to go. He loved it and was glad he could have cake again. Thank you so much for submitting this recipe!

Cabbage and Smoked Sausage Pasta

Oooh this is so good! This was a great recipe to get DD to eat cabbage. I loved the flavor the sauted onion and garlic gave the dish. I also added a couple more spices and left out the parmesan cheese. This is a keeper!
