Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal Raisin

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
These cookies were so good. The only changes I made were to add another banana and a teaspoon cinnamon. Baked at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Let set on the pan for 5 minutes then cool on wire rack. Taking them out while still a little undercooked keeps them moist while they finish cooking on the pan.

This recipe was fantastic. Everyone gave it a five and wants me to make it again. I added some more spices and some parmesan cheese along with the mozzarella.

Chicken Broccoli Supper

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
This was so good and got rave reviews. I needed to feed six and I didn't have cream of chicken so I went with cream of mushroom family size and added a little milk. I also added peas and a small diced onion. This recipe is a keeper.

Easy and Fun Peanut Butter Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
These are the first peanut butter balls I've ever made. Very easy to make. I didn't have milk powder so I used 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1/2 whey protein powder. Definitely a keeper!

Barley Burger Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
This recipe was pretty good. I ended up adding a can of diced tomatoes and some leftover chunky vegetable spagetti sauce. I would make this again.

Bacon-Roasted Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
Tasted great but bacon didn't crisp on the bottom and was a little too greasy. Would make this again but just place the bacon on top next time.

Porcupines

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I started off making this recipe as written but it went in a whole different direction because I didn't have tomato sauce so I used cream of mushroom. I also used ground turkey and cooked brown rice. I had leftover rice so I added that to the soup and put the meatballs on top. Cooked as directed. It was fabulous! I'll have to try this one again but with the tomato sauce next time around.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
I thought this recipe was ok, my daughter thought it was good but missing something. I made as directed except for the sauce. Someone ate all the blueberries before I could make it so maybe that was our problem. But for the main part of it I thought it was too bland. It need something sweet and I couldn't taste the maple syrup in it. If I make this again I'll try it with some of the revisions from other reviewers next time around.

Authentic Mexican Breakfast Tacos

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Love these! I've been making them for years. I have found we like it better in a flour tortilla instead of corn. But it's fabulous either way. And adding onions and green peppers also gives this a flavor boost.

Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2011
I loved these! But I changed almost everything ... sort of. I made my own biscuits and barbeque sauce. I also used hot Italian sausage. I would make them again.

Kristen's Awesome Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
I just love oatmeal cookies. These are fabulous and very moist. I followed the recipe but didn't have enough vanilla so I used a teeny bit of almond extract instead. I will be making these again.

White Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
This is a fabulous chili! I added chili powder, pepper, garlic, some grill seasoning, a cup more of water and corn. I also only had 1 can of northern beans so I added a can of pinto along with it. We also loved the flavor that the cheese added. This is a keeper!

I've made herbed noodles for years but in our home it's know as buttered noodles. This is a great recipe. My very picky niece loves them.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
I thought this recipe was really good. It's a keeper for me. I didn't have saltine crackers so I ended up using crushed croutons instead. I also used ground turkey and added garlic. I've never added milk to meatloaf or made the sauce in the bottom of the pan but it tasted great. And after dishing it up I put the extra sauce over the top.

Fluffy White Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
This frosting was pretty good. It tasted like marshmallows and was a big hit. It's a little sticky and wasn't as thick as I'd like but will make it again.

Diane's Colcannon

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
I loved this recipe! It's a total keeper. This was the first time I made it and served it with corned beef for St. Patrick's Day. I didn't have bacon but used some of the corned beef fat to saute the cabbage and onions. It worked out great.

Jagerschnitzel

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2011
I thought it was good but missing something. I used pork loin chops and fresh mushrooms. DD loved the sauce and gave it a 5 but since I only rated it a 3 I split the difference and rated a 4. I would make it again but add more seasonings.
