A very nice holiday treat! Thank you for sharing! My husband commented that it was the best gingerbread that he's ever tasted!

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2003
The pumpkin pie was delicious and a big hit at a recent party! While the flavor was very nice, I thought that it could have benefited from a bit more spice in the flavor. Thank you for sharing. I think that in my future attempts I will experiment with ground cloves or pumpkin pie spice.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2003
The fudge was very delicious indeed. When I first removed it from the pan it was very soft and pulled apart with the foil. I then sprinkled the fudge with confectioners sugar and used wax paper to mold it. I then pressed the leftover walnuts onto the top, covered the whole thing with aluminum foil and froze it. Frozen, the fudge held its shape and remained the consistency I was familiar with -- and was delicious. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Creamy Caramel Flan

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2003
Wow! It was delicious and so easy to make. I got scared when the caramel hardened on my pan before it was fully coated... I was then concerned when I accidentally spilled a little water into the batter when I was filling the roasting pan... Regardless of my fumbling, it turned out perfect! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2002
I am only giving this cake two stars because after two attempts I could not get it to an edible state. After the first baking, the cake was a pudding (as commented by another reviewer). I tried cutting the oil down to 1 cup and baking an additional 15 minutes the second time I ended up with something hard and sticky. I do believe that someone out there got this to work and so I give the recipe two stars. The icning was tasty - cream cheese was used as a substitute.

Mediterranean Shrimp Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2002
Delicious! My fiance was thrilled with this creation -- not only was it delicious but it looked like I spent a lot of time on the meal. Trying to keep the sodium low I took out the olives and the capers and only used half of the pesto called for in the recipe. This was the best meal that I have ever prepared and I intend on making it again. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
