Thin Mint Crackers

I made these over the Christmas holidays and everyone that tried them loved them and couldn't believe how they tasted exactly like a Girl Scout thin mint! They were delicious, and I never would have guessed they were made with Ritz crackers. Thanks for a great recipe!

Pope's Valentine Cookies

Made these for Valentines Day...they were so delicious! More of a shortbread cookie than a sugar cookie, but the were so tender and good. I sprinkled some with pink sprinkles and dipped some halfway in melted dark chocolate. Very, very good.

Classic Bran Muffins

FINALLY...my bran muffin recipe search has ended. After many attempts with very bland results I have found the perfect bran muffin recipe. This muffin has the best flavor of any I have tried. Sweeter than most, but not too sweet. Very delicious. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

This is the best oatmeal cookie recipe I've had yet. I can't put my finger on what separates this one from the rest, but the ingredients are the perfect combination for a great tasting cookie. Crispy on the edges and soft and chewy in the middle, with a perfect blend of spices. I can't wait to try them with raisins and various flavors of chips (chocolate, butterscotch, and cinnamon). Thanks for a great recipe.

Chocolate Wave Zucchini Bread

What a delicious change from regular zucchini bread! The two flavors (chocolate and zucchini) blend together so nicely...looks nice too...would make a great gift. I liked this recipe so much I think I will do this with my favorite banana bread recipe and make chocolate - banana wave bread.

Sophie's Zucchini Bread

Finally a good zucchini bread recipe...I have been looking for a zucchini bread recipe that is more dense than many of the "too light and airy" recipes I have tried recently. This bread is delicious...my husband was eating it and looked at me and said "this is the one". Thanks for a great tasting recipe. I doubled the recipe and added mini chocolate chips to two of the four loaves...a great taste combination and a great way to get kids to eat zucchini.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Very delicious...I do like my cookies a little crispier on the outside and soft in the middle, but the overall flavor of this cookie is great. I wonder if I could increase the baking time to produce a crisy/chewy cookie. Or perhaps play with the recipe...any suggestions?

Best Carrot Cake Ever

FINALLY...after a long search for the perfect carrott cake recipe...I've found it. As the name says this is "THE BEST CARROTT CAKE" recipe I have ever tasted. Definitely worth the work getting 6 cups of grated carrott. (I used a mini food cuisinart, and it saved me quite a bit of time) The cake is so moist and delicious. It is dense, but I love it that way. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe. I topped it with a cream cheese frosting recipe found in this website.

Very, very good cookie... a nice change of pace from the standard choc. chip cookie. I love the 3 kinds of nuts and 3 kinds of chips. I used a 1/4 cup measuring cup and made giant cookies. Yummy!

Banana Bread IV

I always am trying new banana bread recipes in hopes of finding "THE" one. After all the rave reviews for this one, I couldn't wait to try it. Well I to say it, but I am very disappointed in this recipe. I am not a professional baker, but am also far from a novice, and this bread turned out terrible. Soggy and undone in the middle, terrible color, and too done on the outside. I will go back to what I have concluded to be the best recipe, and that is one I found in a Cooking Light "Best Of" cookbook.

Banana Pudding Cake

Absolutely the BEST banana cake I have ever had...and it is so easy. I make mine in a 9x13 pan and frost with ready to spread chocolate frosting. One question, does anyone have any tips to keep a cake from shrinking once you take it out of the oven. It rises so nice and high while cooking, but once done and out to cool, it goes somewhat flat and shrinks at the sides. Still tastes SUPREME!!!

Italian Creme Layer Cake

After so many rave reviews, I had to try this cake. I am not a professional baker, but I am a pretty experienced baker. This cake came out a disaster for me. It fell apart, did not rise very well, and when I tasted it, I did not taste the yummy moist cake I have read about. I followed the directions to the T and use high quality ingredients and bakeware, and have never had to throw out a cake until I made this one.
