Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup from Scratch

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2012
WOW! So good and easy....better than out of the can! Used fresh mushrooms, very little salt and a low sodium beef stock, also used skim milk. This was perfect for the casserole I was making! I like the fact that the sodium factor is way down cause you can control the salt and sodium in the broth! Excellent and thanks! Just what I was looking for!

Portobello Mushroom Burger With Bruschetta Topping

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
Ok...this was so good...and I went "Bun-less" for carb reasons....never the less...yummy! I loved the bruschetta and never thought to add grated cheese to it... I used Pecorino Romano instead of the Parm. I also used provolone instead of the horsey-cheddar that I could not find. The bruschetta is an and most appropriate topping for the shrooms. Loved it...once again...bet even better if I could have bitten into a wonderful roll....but my hips told me not to....lol....nice job CNM...will be making again.....great combo of flavors! Thanks!

Bacon Ranch Chicken Skewers

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
LOVED!!!!! And so did everyone. I used a low fat ranch dressing and used Sriacha sauce instead of the chili paste....marinated for several hours and yes a minor hassle to weave the bacon...etc...etc...but WHO CARES!!! This chicken is so flipping moist and amazing in flavor. Loved the bacon and red onion in between the layers....just so very good. Thanks Chef John!

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
No word to describe how moist, easy and delicious this is! Made no changes, just baked in a 10" springform. We all had seconds! I really think the butterscotch pudding mix adds something here....do not skip or substitute it....Thanks!

Pistachio Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
Amazing and so tasty! I used 2 packs of the pistachio pudding, skim milk, and used fat free whipped topping. I did however make Hard Chocolate Glaze from this site for the toppng instead of the container of chocolate frosting. Sometimes I think that canned frosting is very sweet and artificial tasting, so I went with this other topping and it turned out perfect. Will make again!

S'mores Pops

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
My 13 and 5 year olds made these for our BBQ yesterday. Quick, easy, and all of the kids loved them! Doubled the recipe and I was able to find the jumbo marshmellows. I also bought a bottle of Reese's peanut butter topping and on some the kids put some of the pb topping on and then quickly poured the Magic Shell over it and then rolled in the crushed grahams. A fun treat and some with a chocolate and peanut butter twist! Great for the kiddos to make and I've already passed the recipe on to a few of my Girl Scout Leader friends! Thanks!

Healthier Old Fashioned Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
Another winner....thanks for a lighter potato salad! Still a ton of flavor....I did add the yolks to the salad and I did add a spalsh of white vinegar and some low fat buttermilk to thin the dressing a bit. Other than that I really enjoyed this. Also added some fine diced red pepper for color. Thanks!

Best Burger Sauce

Good....I used a spicy brown mustard and garlic powder instead of the dried minced garlic. Nice sauce. Made the day before our BBQ for the flavors to combine. Nice and thanks!

So good! My dip turned green since I also put the spinach in the food processor! Used low fat mayo. This was so tasty with all of the different ingredients...will most definately make again. My company inhaled this dip. Served with whole wheat Ritz crackers and Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits.

Nana's Southern Coleslaw

Reviewed: May 25, 2012
So good....my kiddos loved it....used a pre-shredded slaw mix for ease....also used fine diced red onion (which my eldest noticed and loved), low fat mayo, omitted the milk, used low fat buttermilk and used 3 packets of Truvia sugar substitute instead of the sugar and it was way sweet enough. Also used fresh lemon juice which I think it way better than any bottled, salt and fresh cracked pepper. Made this in the morning and served tonight....NO LEFTOVERS!!!! Family inhaled. Thanks!

Nanna's Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 23, 2012
Really good! My kiddos loved it....I subbed all of the oil with applesauce and I used 4 bananas that were frozen and thawed. Instead of the nuts, I added 1/2c mini chocolate chips. Delicious, I tasted it and a great way to use up some buttermilk which was low fat by the way. Thanks!
