Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
The family loved this! I made some changes. I didn't use the cereal and I did use Panko. Also I used Parm instead of Cheddar. I baked it for 45 min. per other reviews and it was perfect.

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
The family thought it was ok, but I didn't care for it at all. I followed the directions and didn't cook it until the coating had all soaked through. It mostly all came off in the oil and what did stick was really light and flavorless even though I added lots of extra spices in each step. Won't be making this again.

Heavenly Shortbread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2011
Love this recipe! The only change I made was to add about 1c. bacon crumbles. I drizzled them with maple glaze. They just melt in your mouth! Next time I will add something else like Earl Grey tea or sage. Thanks Mazie!

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
I thought these were yummy! My very picky son loved them. I did use applesauce instead of oil and left off the frosting because it wasn't necessary. Moist and delicious and with no nuts it's fat free.

Superfast Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
I love cooking asparagus this way now! I just used salt, pepper and garlic instead of cajun seasoning but the spears were to die for! Hubby thought so too!

Biscuit Baking Mix

I keep a big bowl of this in my pantry and we use if for everything. It is easy to make and easy to use. Also I use butter instead of shortning, better flavor and better for us.

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
Very tasty! The leftovers were used as toast and were so good that I wished I had made an extra loaf just for the toast. The raisin really make this bread, so don't leave them out!

Griddle Scones

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
After following other reviews and baking instead of stovetop, I wound up with thick, doughy tastless, scones. The kids were spreading butter on them and dipping them in the sugar bowl to make them edible. I think I will stick with the Simple Scones recipe on this site.

PHILLY Caramel Cheesecake Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
I halved this recipe and was disappointed with the thickness of the bars. I also thought that these were just ok, not really the cheesecake flavor I was seeking. The recipe was saved for me because I used crushed homemade pnut butter cookies for the crust and after tasting the mediocre filling, I topped it with strawberry jam and fresh whipped cream.
