Sweet Corn Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
This is the best cornbread recipe I've ever made. My husband asked for them again two days later. I made 12 muffins with one recipe. Moist on the inside and a little crunch on the outside when they are right out of the oven. Turn your oven heat down 25 degrees if you are using a dark non-stick pan. Delicious with butter and honey.

Toll House® Blonde Brownies

Very good. I would cut in half, though. It made a whole cookie sheet full!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2003
This is the best bread I've ever made. People are always asking me to make this pumpkin bread. Downeast Maine is by far the best recipe I've ever tried on allrecipes, and I use it all the time. Thank you!!!

Emma's Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2003
These were easy to make and pretty tasty. I would skip the salt next time. This was a good substitute when I ran out of pancake/waffle mix.

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2003
These cookies taste great--chewy like brownies. I was confused, though, about what "mint wafer candies" were. York peppermint patties? or Andes candies? I tried both, and the peppermint patties turned out pretty gross. The Andes candies melted much better.

Cream Cheese Brownies III

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2003
I could not really taste the cream cheese. I was expecting it to be more chocolatey as well. They weren't bad, though.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
I made this with white bread from the bread machine. It came out too dry. I like my bread pudding to be moist, and this one was not. Maybe it would have been better with different bread. I'll try a different recipe next time.

I added a little brown sugar to make this dish more interesting, and served it with German Potato Pancakes.

Green Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2003
The dressing was a little too tangy. Maybe less vinegar? However, I like the combination of almonds and bleu cheese.

Easy and tasty. I made this to go along with kielbasa and sauerkraut for dinner. Great with a little maple syrup, too.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2003
This dish was tasty but pretty greasy. I might suggest using less butter and maybe some chicken broth for added liquid.

Early Morning Oven Roasted New Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2003
Great flavor and crispy on the outside. I used fresh rosemary the first time and dry the second. Fresh rosemary is better, but the dry works well when you grind it up first.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2003
Buttery and yeasty dinner rolls... mmmm... I made these for a special Christmas Eve dinner. They were delicious! I also tried the dough with cinnamon rolls, and that was great as well.
