Bill Clinton's Lemon Chess Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
Amazing, amazing, amazing. I made this for Thanksgiving and received rave reviews. Like some of the other reviews noted...this recipe makes one DEEP DISH pie perfectly! If using regular size pie shells, plan on making either two pies or having left over filling.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
I've made this recipe twice now, both having very different results. The first time I used half butter and half crisco as some of the other reviews had mentioned. The cookies turned out cake like inside with the outside crispy (which is the way I LOVE them :)) This last time I made the recipe, it was according to the directions (only because I forgot that I originally did the substitution)and my cookies turned out very flat and crispy. So, depending on your tastes, this recipe can be modified to accomodate everyone's preferences.

Sesame Seared Tuna

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2007
WOW!!! Amazing recipe!!This was my first time searing tuna so I was reluctant to try adding the sesame seeds for fear that I would burn them. Boy, I wish I would have. I think they would have added an excellent crunchy "crust" that would compliment the velvety texture of the tuna. I will make this again and try adding the sesame seeds after cooking as one person suggested. This is definitely a recipe to make when you want to impress guests. The dipping sauce was amazing and the wasabi gives it a wonderful kick. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

These are the best snickerdoodles that I've ever tasted. The cookies are moist and wonderful. I took these to a cookie exchange at Christmas time and everyone was asking for the recipe.

Vegetable Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2007
WONDERFUL!! The herb sauce is amazing and I plan on using it for other recipes. I altered the recipe somewhat by mixing a bit of cheddar cheese in with the ricotta. I took this recipe to a potluck and received rave reviews.

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
This is the BEST sausage gravy recipe that I've tried. I almost used regular sausage because I was worried that the flavor would not be "right" w/ the maple. I'm so glad that I didn't. The maple sausage gives this recipe the most wonderful flavor. Thanks so much Bill.

Orange Sunshine Cake

Reviewed: May 21, 2006
This cake tastes EVEN BETTER when you use the Duncan Hines Orange Supreme cake mix in place of the yellow cake mix. It's not available in all stores, but if you can find it the cake tastes even more fabulous. (If using the orange cake mix, omit the orange extract from the recipe). Either way though..this cake is perfect for summer and is to die for. Definitely one to take to family functions or potlucks..you will get rave reviews and tons of compliments. Be prepared to share the recipe, because everyone will be asking for it :)

Oranged Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2002
I am not a real big fan of cranberry sauce, but this is so good. I was eating it right out of the pan. I made it the day before Thanksgiving and I am glad because it took forever to cook. I read the other reviews before hand and I made sure to not add to much water. Even without a lot of water it still took a very long time to cook. It was definetly well worth the wait. Next time I may try not adding any water at all since the cranberrys added quite a bit of liquid by themselves.

This is an awesome recipe. I have made it three times using different cuts of meat every time and it has never turned out bad. The key is to cook it long enough. AWESOME, AWESOME RECIPE!!!!!
