Cathy's Creamy Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2002
My mum and I made this recipe one day because we had never had chicken bake and it seemed like a good dish to make. Good? TRY GREAT! We made it twice in one week.

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2003
AAAAAAHHH! The best carrot cake ever, atleast that's what everyone tells me when I make this cake. I also got a recipe for a cream cheese frosting from this website and I add a little bit of the left over pinapple juice to it: for a little kick. EVERYONE SHOULD TRY THIS CAKE!

Cream Cheese Frosting I

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2003
This recipe is really basic, but oh-so-good. I make it with the GREAT recipe for carrot cake that I also got from this website. To add a little zest to this frosting, I add some left over pinapple juice from the carrot cake. It's so YUMMY!

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2003
I got this recipe from my mom's friend and this recipe is also the reason I started using this website (which is wonderful). I made this fruit pizza for a girl scout meeting and EVERYONE loved it! I use: kiwi, strawberry, bannana, and sometimes canned mandarine oranges.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2003
My sister is so picky about food, but when I made this dish. She loved it! She asks me to make it all the time. The only warning I have about his recipe is to watch how much enchilada sauce you use, I prefer to to completely drown my enchiladas in enchilada sauce... but that's just me!

Grandma Ruth's Stuffing

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2003
I don't have much to say about this recipe because it was so perfect. I prefer to not stuff the bird with stuffing and instead eat it as a side dish with the turkey. Let me just say that this is what stuffing is supposed to taste like!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2004
Well, I had high expectations for this cake.... AND ALL OF THEM WERE SURPASSED! My parents, who don't even like sweets, LOVED this cake! You only need a thin slice along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream to be in heaven! I used kahlua for the coffee liquer and highly reccommend it! P.S. I made this for v-day: good idea!

Really good, but be careful with the cayenne pepper...some of my mushrooms had a bit too much and made my guests sneeze!

Seven Layer Dip I

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2004
I didn't use the ground meat in mine because I wanted to keep the dip light. The other 7 Layers were excellent though!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2005
I made this for the first time, and it turned out pretty tasty! I added a bit more vanilla and cinnamon than the recipe asked for and used half & half instead of just milk...I would say that those adjustments made it even better.

Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls

Make sure to go easy on the mint and basil...it may overpower the other flavors. As a tip, I would coat the shrimp in oyster & soy sauce for some flavor.

Eggs Benedict

Great recipe...I made it for my mum on Mother's Day and she loved it. I would suggest using a store-bought packet of Hollandaise mix which will save you time and the worry of food poisoning + it tastes really great!

Simple Scones

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2005
So simple (like the title) and SO yummy. I made the cranberry orange version...perfection. For that chocolate fix, I added about 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips too...and about a tsp. of the juice from the orange I zested. Try it-- you'll love it!!!
