Chef John's Baked Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2012
This was delicious. The rare times I have eaten squash, never liked them. However, this recipe is excellent! I have become a fan of squash thanks to this recipe!

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
This is sooooo good. I added almond cocoa butter (Trader Joe's) to the mix. I didn't really measure anything. I just gage how much I can tolerate of the peanut butter, honey and almond cocoa butter. I only used one banana as it was for one person. I kept adding ice until it was thick enough for me.

Delectable Marinated Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
This was very good. I didn't have the mixes spiced. So I used 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic. I didn't have sesame seeds so I used 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Olive oil instead of canola. As suggested by a previous reviewer I cooked the meat on the stove at 375 degree for 1 hour. I simply put the meat in a large piece of foil in a pyrex dish. Perfect and indeed delectable.

Holiday Cranberry Chutney

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2012
Excellent recipe. This is breakfast on some home made bread. I have added the juice of one fresh lemon, and 4 peel strips of the lemon. I also added 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg. Other times I have replaced the lemon juice with orange juice. I have only used dried cranberries from Ocean Spray (original & the one infused in pomegranate juice). Make sure you put sugar last after the cranberries & apple are almost cooked. It came out great.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
That was so great!! Cutting cranberries, apples, liver, and celery very finely made a huge difference. I replaced sage with marjoram (I didn't have any sage). Used stock from the Turkey roasting in the oven.
