Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2002
I am completely addicted to this! I used already prepared honey mustard (I bought from tastefully simple), mixed the bread crumbs in with the mustard mixture it was FANTASTIC! Thank goodness my Dad goes Salmon fishing & shares his catch with me (it's best with fresh Salmon). Thanks so much Chris, this is better than what I've paid $25 for in a resturant!

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2002
Very good, I added onion & garlic as well, YUM! I "microwave steam" the pepper (in my Pampered Chef micro steamer...I love it) for mine, but my hubby likes them cooked per the recipe (a little crisp) he loves them! Sometimes I mix 1/2 beef & 1/2 pork. Thanks Bonnie!!

Tasty Tortellinis

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2002
This combo was Okay. I added some pimentos and some red onion to add some flavor- it was a little bland, for my taste as a salad. I have made an appitizer simular to this, but using salami & mozz. cheese and also marinated with Wishbone Robust Italian Dressing. I'll stick to that, thanks anyway Nancy ;)

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2002
I substituted 1/8 tsp. of cayenne pepper for the red pepper flakes, and my VERY PICKY 12 year old daughter loved it in our homemade taco dip & taco's as well! (I would however suggest maybe just the 1 tsp. of cumin). We figured out that 21/2 - 3 tablespoons = one 1.25 oz. packet, which I will NEVER go back to! Thanks so much Bill!

These were very easy, I put them in the crockpot for a few hours. They were a little runnier than I'm used to, but they were good. Thanks Jackie-

This recipe was alright, just too sweet for me. I like it my easy way; 1 can of Welchs frozen juice (any flavor), 1 can water, 1 can vodka...mmmmmmm vodka juice!

This was very moist & yummy too. I tried them in muffin tins and my 11 year old son fed all of the nieghborhood boys with them! I doubled it and then cut the oil to 1 1/2 cups. Delish! Thanks V.

Tasty BBQ Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2002
Quite honestly, I liked it better spreading it on the corn after it was grilled. I tried it both ways. When I grilled the corn with the butter mixture on it, it seemed to make the corn a little "soggy". Next time I will try it with the fresh onion & garlic. Thanks Deann.

Awesome Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2002
YUUUMMMMMMY!! Just like my Mom used to make. My husband & Children loved this! Try cooking the noodles before adding them to the soup, as they consume a lot of the broth. For the chicken base, I like to use "Wyler's chicken (garlic & herb) Shakers" it isn't as salty as other types. Good recipe! Thank you Alan!

Better Than Best Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2002
My kids & I thought that this mixture was good, however my husband said it tasted "funny" (but then again, he really doesn't like cream of chicken soup, so he was on to that flavor). It worked well with chicken tenders, the "batter" was crunchy & actually stayed on the chicken. It was ALOT of messy clean-up. Thanks Candy.

Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

This recipe was good & very moist. I've never had it with pineapple in it so it was a bit of a change. The frosting was a bit runny for my liking, but it was good. Thanks Tracy!

Chicken Enchiladas II

I'm not going to lie..this did look yucky, BUT ooh was it good!! I used cream of chicken to please my picky 12 year old (who ended up picking out the chiles) and it turned out very good. Next time I'll try using the salsa at the end like a previous reviewer suggested. Thanks so much Steph!!

Restaurant-Style Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2002
I make this soup often, & my children LOVE it! I use ground Italian sausage (so that there is no need to deal with the casing), and I just brown it along with some cayenne pepper (for a kick) and then drain it. I also drain all but 1 tbsp. of the bacon grease and add a pinch of crushed red pepper. I used to frequent Olive Garden to get this soup, but it is just so much better homemade, not to mention fresher (you know how sometimes you get that bad waiter/waitress that gives you a bowl of kale)! YUM!! Thanks Nancy!
