Chunky Potato Soup

Simply a great Recipe. My mother was under the weather with the flu and requested some potato soup, and of course I looked on Allrecipes for a great recipe. I wasn't disappointed at all. I am not a fan of celery so I didn't add it. I didn't have swiss cheese so I substituted that for some sharp cheddar. It was really good.It was a Hit with my mom, who asked for the recipe. Thanks for this recipe!!!

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Oh my Goodness, what a great pound cake! I made no substitutions. I made a double batch in which I made a 16"inch cake x 4". The base size for a wedding cake, it was awesome. I had to cook it a lot longer due to the size, but to my amazement it was not dry. The cake got rave reviews from the guests. I will continue to use this recipe based on the compliments. Great cake for weddings, bridal showers and baby showers.

Cocktail Meatballs

As with most of the reviews, this was a very good dish. I actually served mine at a baby shower of all things. I really enjoyed the unique flavor the cranberries gave. Great recipe.

Awesome recipe. I do have a few tips on decorating. I found this most helpful in making a snowflake design on a sugar cookie. Take a mixture of warm water and confectioners sugar to make a clear glaze. Take a small paintbrush and coat the cookie, giving it a shiny appearance. After you pipe the design on the cookie, again use the warm mixture with the paintbrush to smooth out the lines. Then add the edible glitter. They are simply gorgeous.

Ok, this is I think my 1st review, and I must say this is simply an outstanding cookie. I took a snowflake cookie cutter and made snowflake cookies as an experimental project for a wedding coming up in Jan. The 1st batch I made, I received awesome reviews on the taste of this cookie. I took the advice of others and used only 1/2 cup of oil. I am glad I made this cookie and so will the Bride. :)
