Banana Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2002
this bread was pretty good. i'm not sure yet whether i like it better than my aunt's recipe, but we still enjoyed it. i used pecans instead of walnuts. much more like a cake than bread, but still very delish. i did not premix this before putting it in my bread machine.

Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2002
this was awesome! i have never been a fan of meatloaf...until i tried this recipe! family loved it! the diced tomatoes added a nice touch, and they didn't make it too mushy since I cooked it uncovered. wonderful recipe...will definitely make again!!

Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

Reviewed: May 31, 2002
Awesome drink! It was a hot day today, and i couldn't make it out to Starbucks for a frappuccino...this did the trick! It had just the right amount of sugar so that it still had a great coffee taste!! Loved it and will definitely be making this one again!

Crispy Rice Caramel Ice Cream Dessert

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2002
This was really good i thought. i changed a couple of things just b/c i didn't have all the ingredients on hand. i used frosted flakes instead of rice crispies and i also only had 1/2 the amount of caramel needed, so i drizzled the other half w/ melted peanut butter. it was very delicious, although it was definitely super sweet. i'm glad i used vanilla ice cream instead of praline, cuz then it really woulda been too much. good for kids and informal desserts...i don't think i'd serve this after a nice dinner. great recipe! thanks for sharing it!

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2002
this soup was alright. my whole family enjoyed it, but to me it tasted more like chicken ala king (it was definitely not a soup). I don't think i'll make this again.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2002
great recipe...only i had to cut the biscuits in half during baking time b/c the tops were getting browned, but the insides weren't. They still ended up nice and fluffy though. will definitely make again

Great meal!! Everyone loved this one! I too used an egg wash, and I also used more salt and pepper than the recipe called for. Very easy and tasty!!

Grilled Chicken Salad with Seasonal Fruit

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2002
This was an awesome salad! the dressing was amazing, however i did cut the sugar in half and it was still wonderful! I also sprinkled some star pastini over it and fried tortilla strips to go with it. The pecans taste wonderful if you toast them in just a little bit of butter and also salt. Love the recipe and will definitely make again!!!
