Bryan's Sweet and Hot Tomato Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2002
This was easy to make and put a nice little spin on regular tomato sauce. I put extra crushed chile peppers (closer to a full Tablespoon) in it because my husband and I like hot things. It was a little too hot so next time I think I will stick to the recipe. Someone else said that the brown sugar made it too sweet but I didn't think so. I browned some ground turkey and added that. I'll make this again.

Cottage Cheese Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2002
I tried this recipe just because it looked interesting. It was good but didn't make my favorite list. It really did look like meat. My parents, who are very healthy eaters, loved it! I'll probably make this again but not very often.

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2002
I wasn't very pleased with this recipe the night I made it but the next day the leftovers seemed better. That could just have to do with my taste though because my brother and sister-in-law liked it!

Lemon Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2002
This tasted great! Everyone loved it. My husband said he thinks this is the best thing I've ever made! The sauce was pretty thin so I mixed some milk and corn starch/flour and added that to help thicken it. It still never got very thick but coated the pasta good enough. I used chicken broth and put chunks of chicken in it. I also just doubled the lemon zest because I didn't have a lime and added extra lemon juice. I will make this again!

This was good! It is really unique and tastes great! Everyone who tried it fresh loved it. I'll do it again sometime but next time I'll have someone help me cut so it will go faster.

Best Ever New Zealand Pavlova

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2002
My mom is from Australia and made Pavalova while I was growing up. I saw this recipe and thought I would try it out. It's softer than my moms (which I liked). It was hard on the outside and marshmallowy in the middle. I put whipped cream, kiwis and bananas on it. It was an excellent dessert. Especially if you have some sweet teeth!
