Paul's Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2012
These were alright. I ate them but I do not think I will make them again. They tasted just like carrot cake but were far too oily for me.

Banana Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2012
I absolutely loved these! I was a bit afraid to make them after all of the horrible reviews but They were phenominal! I will definietly make these again. I decreased the shortening to 1/4+1/2 of a 1/4 cup butter, decreased the sugar to 1/3+1/2 of a 1/3 cup, added an egg, used whole wheat flour, used 3 bananas, and omitted the lemon juice and walnuts. Yummy! I also only made 1/2 of the frosting and used a whole banana in it.

Lower Fat Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2012
Don't decrease the sugar as much next time. Needs salted butter on it when you eat it because it tastes...erm healthy. 1) Added 1/2 cup of bananas, 2) 1 Cup white flour, 2/3 cup wheat flour, 3) Did 1/2 brown and 1/2 white sugar, 4) used applesauce instead of margarine, 5) added 1t of vanilla 6) used milk instead of water

Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2012
omMMMMMMMMM (like omg but ending in a long delicious mmmmmmm) I only used 1 cup of sugar and I used frozen blueberries and a bit of frozen mixed berries for sweetness instead of mashed (but the rest were fresh). It made a nice purple cupcake/muffin. It tastes delicious!! I also used sour milk instead of buttermilk!

Banana Crepes

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
Delicious! Loved it!!! I used skim milk instead of cream and it turned out just as delicious! Aside: I would reccommend using VERY ripe bananas as I tried this once with bananas that had just ripened and it was not nearly as delicious.

Frozen Bananas

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
OH MY GOODNESS! These are amazing! I make them up every other day in the summer and they're gone before I know it! I have condensed the recipie to just slicing an banana, putting a glob of Kraft extra creamy peanutbutter on the top, and freezing but you can get as fancy as you would like! Tastes the best with bananas that have small brown speckles on them! Anyways, I was unsure about freezing bananas and eating them but these are just delicious! Great for a hot summer afternoon! MODIFICATION: try with peanutbutter mixed with honey rolled in crushed dad's oatmeal cookies. It's AMAZING!

Banana Cookies

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
Yum! I made these just like the recipie except I substitted butter for shortening and didn't use nute. They tasted delicious! Also, I halfed the recipie and used just less than 2 bananas (not 1.5). It is a very yummy cakey cookie! I also made a few with crushed reces pieces and a few with chocolate on top. These cookies would be very nice iced. PS when you're cooking these they actually taste better when the bottom goes brown and I would reccommend broiling the tops!

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
AMAZING!!! I've made practically every variation possible (fruit, chocolate, etc) a million times. I always half the sugar and use the full amount of oil but I'm thinking of trying applesauce instead!! Thank's for the great recipe! I'd definitely reccommend it...I think it would taste GREAT with a butter base then you wouldn't need to butter them when you eat it (I don't think the oil gives these amazing muffins justice)

Whole Wheat Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2011
I made the base with: 2 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 cup white sugar (just under) 3 tsp baking powder a pinch of salt 3/4 cup skim milk 1/3 cup homemade apple sauce (apples water cinnamon) about a tbs of oil 1 egg 1 tsp cinnamon ground flax (1/2 tsp) I made different versions: PLAIN-added butter to the base yum! SUGAR TOPPED-topped, with sugar WHOLE GRAIN BLUEBERRY-Extra cinnamon, blueberries, nutmeg, half of the sugar was brown, flax seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, poppy seeds APPLE-Extra apple sauce cinnamon and nutmeg, cubed apples HONEY-Mixed in honey, wasn't my favourite ROLLED OATS-Replace 1/2 cup flour with rolled oats. Can be used in combo with another alteration I did above -All in all, they were yummy and healthy. -The taste was very mild with the main flavour being my cannamon and nutmeg (I reccommend extra for the blueberry and apple versions). -As I was making the batter it was very dry. I will use more wet ingredients next time. -I think that they were a little dry (after cooked too) because I used less oil to be healthy. -In contradiction, although they were dry, I found they were a little doughy after cooked. -The muffins rose very nicely in the oven. -I think they would be very good with a butter base instead of oil! -I baked them in 375 for 17 mins -I only got 10 muffins :(

Crazy Crust Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
I made this with one egg (instead of two) as many of the other reviews suggested. It was fluffy, didn't stick, had a great texture, and tasted great! The flecks of oregano also looked great! I would definitely reccommend it!
