Spaghetti Tacos

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2012
These have become a family favorite. I don't think it matters much how you do the spaghetti, the tortilla shell is amazing with it. I add about a pound of ground beef then we top with shredded cheddar. The kids love them and my husband hurts himself when I make these :)

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
These are the best sugar cookies ever! If you are like me and put them too close together and end up with one big cookie for your first batch, a pizza cutter separates them nicely after they cool 2 min. I've rolled a batch in sugar, put a sugar cookie glaze on a batch, and my last batch I added a little cinnamon to the dry ingredients to make snicker doodles. Wonderful! 8 min and they're chewy, 10 min and crunchy... both good. If you leave them in too long the ole "slice of bread in the air tight container" works great to make them soft again. You HAVE to try these! Make the balls small and give them plenty of space!

Sugar Cookie Glaze

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2011
I made with milk instead of water to start with, then added water to thin it out. Added a little coconut extract, made it orange in color. I drizzled it over a chocolate bundt cake and it was perfect!

Coconut Cream Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
I used the Coco Real cream of coconut from the alcohol mixer section of the grocery store and mixed that with the sweetened condensed milk. The mix was sooo much and so sweet was nervous to add all of it and I'm glad I did. I used the handle end of a wooden spoon to poke (I made a 3 layer round) and it turned out perfect. Very moist, but not wet whatsoever. I made this for my mom's birthday and she loved it. I added a little more sugar to the whipped cream and also added coconut extract to that as well. Best coconut cake ever.

Microwave Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
This was so easy and delicous! I sprayed the cookie sheet with Pam, kept a measuring cup with really hot water on hand to stick my spoon in between stirs (to keep the candy from sticking) When you pour the mixture on the cookie sheet, it's easier to tilt the pan back and forth to spread out. Becareful when pouring it though- the steam will get ya! Great recipe!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
ADD ON: Just made this again with a cream cheese sauce, 2 cups powdered sugar, 8 oz cream cheese, 1 Tbs butter, 1 Tbs water, 1 tsp vanilla.... mixed, microwaved and poured. Was wonderful with the chocolate! Wow! I did just as the recipe said and it was wonderful! I'm glad I read the reviews first b/c I might have overcooked it if I didn't know that the melted chips would cause the toothpick test to to be a little tricky. I teamed this up with vanilla ice cream and the Satiny Chocolate Glaze for a Hot Fudge Cake type dessert and it was delightful!

The flavor was good, but like everyone else said, I ran out of powder mix and the top dried out.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
This topping is good, but it's certainly not a glaze. It's more of a sauce, kinda reminded me of fudge ice cream topping. I even added a little water or more water to it to try and thin it out. This helped it not be as thick, but it never hardened to to the touch. It tasted good, but wasn't what I was looking for.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
I was looking for a deviled egg with more of a breakfast twist for a brunch and decided to try this one. It was a big hit! I think next time I may try one more slice of bacon and a little more cheese, but even as is, the recipe is delicious! I will certainly make this again.
