Roasted Okra

I made this, but added a little bit of spice. I am Indian and grew up with okra as a staple (fried, and made into a type of curry). I prepared with olive oild, salt, and used a bit of ground cumin, paprika, and red pepper powder (sold at Indian stores) and this came out awesome. Great alternative to frying. thanks for sharing!

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

I made this smoothie this morning for breakfast. Agree with other reviewers in regards to putting the oatmeal in first, and then blending. It makes it quite a bit less gritty. I also added in a handful of blackberries, and rather than sugar, I used a tsp of honey. I also put in two tsp of benefiber (it makes it more filling, and just another way to get your fiber in). Minor modifications...this was a really great smoothie. Will try experimenting with other flavors like mango.
