As a single mom, working full-time and heavily involved with my 7 year old son; there's very little time to spend preparing meals like I used to (hence the reason I listed myself as Intermediate; but pretty darn close ot Expert when given time).
My favorite things to cook
When in a rush,broiling fish is always an quick and healthy meal. I love vegetables and garlic.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up, my mother would have us help her make pop-corn balls. Another favorite treat was no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime I try a new recipe. Several years ago, made a gourmet Thanksgiving dinner for my parents with the help of my brother and sister. It was truly delicious and 5-star resturant quality.
