About this Cook
As a single mom, working full-time and heavily involved with my 7 year old son; there's very little time to spend preparing meals like I used to (hence the reason I listed myself as Intermediate; but pretty darn close ot Expert when given time).
My favorite things to cook
When in a rush, broiling fish is always an quick and healthy meal. I love vegetables and garlic.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up, my mother would have us help her make pop-corn balls. Another favorite treat was no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime I try a new recipe. Several years ago, made a gourmet Thanksgiving dinner for my parents with the help of my brother and sister. It was truly delicious and 5-star resturant quality.
My cooking tragedies
This year's Christmas treats. :)

Turkey Goulash
This is a super easy recipe and takes less than the 45 minutes noted. I also use what items are in my pantry. No stewed tomoatoes, then I use a can of Rotel. No Tomato Sauce; ahh...there's the leftover Spaghetti Sauce in the fridge...there we go!

Honey Duck
I'm a novice, and it was my first time to make ever make any duck recipe. This turned out delicious. Next time however, I will add more honey/OJ, and cook it longer. Otherwise, it was delicious! Made it for New Year's Day and it ws yummy! Everyone enjoyed it.
