My favorite things to cook
Brisket & Potatoes

Chicken breasts
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmothers came from Eastern European Jewish ancestry and that is the food I knew as a child. My one grandmother was the best cook ever and made everything from scratch.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I made my own mac and cheese was Thanksgiving and everyone loved it.
My cooking tragedies
I realized why my mac and cheese at Xmas was bland - I accidentally used mild instead of extra sharp cheddar cheese. I also tried baking a pear tart from a TV cook's recipe and it was terrible and I had company for dinner. Yikes!
