About this Cook
We've just recently moved to the Pocono Mountains, PA area and I've been very lucky to be able to work from home several days a week. This has given me the opportunity to prepare home cooked meals more frequently.
My favorite things to cook
I love preparing soups and salads, but I also enjoy using my crock pot and grill easy family meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am starting all of my own traditions. My mother did not like cooking, so I've learned how to cook from experimenting with recipes, taking tips from friends around the world and having a very tolerant and hungry husband.
My cooking triumphs
Lobster tails on the grill... and baking on the gas grill...
My cooking tragedies
I really don't know how to prepare pork recipes for my hubbie... I don't eat pork so, it's really a challenge.

Lasagna Alfredo
My 12 yr old daughter absolutely loves to help me prepare, assemble and eat this recipe. She requests it every year on her Bday. I suggest using leftover roaster chicken meat for a more flavorful recipe.

White Chili with Ground Turkey
This was the most awful recipe! I tried it twice and still have no idea why you need to add 5 cups of chicken broth at the end. It should be called turkey chili soup!!! Sorry.
