Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
Great and easy recipe. I added a big scoop of garlic and only used a bit of chicken bullion to keep the sodium down.

Sausage Hash

Reviewed: May 11, 2012
Used spicy hot sausage and cooked separately from potatoes, green pepper, onions, garlic and mixed at the end to just flavor each other.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
This was just awesome! I can't wait to make for company. I followed another person's suggestion to put the chicken in 1 cup brother for 3 hours until able to shred it. Drained and put in the rest of the ingredients plus onions and cooked for another 2-3 hours on low. Serve on tortillas with mozzarella cheese.

Ham N Egg Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
I used a 9 X 13 casserole dish which worked good but I had to cook it about 10 minutes longer than the recipe said to get the eggs to set. I used 4 eggs, added onions, red pepper, jalapeno and spices. The potatoes still didn't seem quite done, so I would either thaw them next time or cook them with the precooking crust part. This may be because I used about 2 cups instead of the 1 cup recommended.

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
These are great breakfast muffins. I make a batch and individually wrap them up and freeze. I sub applesauce for the apple butter and use half wheat flour to regular flour.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
This was okay, but not as good as I would have hoped for and I'm not sure I would make it again without reading all the reviews and trying to pizazz it up a bit. Maybe add some corn or something?

Green Chicken Enchilada

Hard to mess something up this easy. I spice it up with extra onions, jalapeno and seasonings.

Zesty Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
Best soup ever. This is the only soup my husband will ever ask me to make. I make it as-is but without the mushrooms and it's perfect every time. It's obviously not low-cal, so I don't make it as often as I would like to!

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
Love this recipe! I made it for myself and I freeze it because my BF won't eat beans so I get them all at once. Changes include: Just used a can of black beans. Used Ranch Style Jalapeno baked beans and then added a can of tomato soup and a can of water plus some Tabasco sauce to spice it up a bit more.

Tasty Tuna Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
These were okay but my BF said they lacked a little zing and I agreed. I think they would have actually been better without the bun so you could taste the ingredients better. I will probably make them again, but plan doubling the recipe, no buns, add some cayenne pepper, and cheese to top them off.

Average taste. I still prefer good old ketchup and brown sugar recipes I guess.
