Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
Was hungry for something with rice and had some ground beef on hand. Did ingredient search and this was one that came up. Made it and everyone really liked it. Thanks!

Roasted Cajun Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
Will make again for sure. WATCH THE TIME. I have a convection oven, set it for 400 and checked at 30 min. They were VERY dark brown. They still tasted good. Will watch the time more closely next time. I am sure they will be even better next time.

Potato Chips

Reviewed: May 28, 2005
I saw this recipe and thought 'sure, in the Microwave" then I decided what the heck, it'll only cost me 1 potato & a little grease to try it. So I did. They were great. I watched them closely the first batch because I wasn't sure what power my microwave is. (it's 1200 I have found out) So yummy. Reminds me of some you get at fairs, maybe because when they cook the smell of that grease is so "fair like". Anyway, for people that live by themselves and do not like to by a bag of chips and most get stale before you finish them - THIS IS FANTASTIC. You just cook the amount you want and have fresh good chips. I had a "V" sliced that I got at the State fair last summer, used the "Thin" side and they cut perfectly. Let my sister taste some when she stopped by and the next Saturday, we had to run to the Outlet mall and get a slicer for her. Very good and fun to make too. Thanks

Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: May 28, 2005
YUMMY! Thank you Shannon. My mom had tried one something like this where you rolled the frozen dough in butter, cinn & sugar. She said it wasn't good at all. Gave her some of these fresh out of the oven and ALL agree that they are delicious! So I gave her a copy of THIS recipe. I used pecans instead of raisins. You could probably add most your favorite "add ons" to this and it would still be great. Thanks again.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2004
Really love this recipe. We do make 2 round pizzas out of it. The crust is sooo good. A friend I have goes to tons of trouble making pizza crust. Gets the high gluten flour and all, this one is so easy with ingredients that everyone has on hand. Thanks

Easy Pizza Sauce II

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2004
I can not 'create' anything without help. This gave me a great start. I just added 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning and 2 teaspoons of brown sugar (we like it a little sweet) and it was great. Thanks for the great begining.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2003
I am 52 and I have been a failure! I have NEVER been able to make 'soft cookies'. People say I always overbake them. NOW I CAN! I finally succeeded in making a SOFT cookie. Thank you so much. I followed the directions to the letter and everyone is happy and now I have to go out in the snow and get more milk!

Snow Flakes

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2002
Very tasty and turned out great. I didn't have any orange zest, so just omitted it and they turned out very good. I have an old cookie press, so it makes small cookies and with the convection oven at 325 F, they baked in only 6-7 minutes. My little girl says they are a "MUST" to leave for Santa!

Carne Guisada II

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2002
Very good recipe! I had searched for something different to use some stew meat I had in the freezer. This was great. I will use the slow cooker next time. My kids (9 & 15) loved it too. We didn't have ANY leftovers!

Cheese Cake Cups

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2002
So good and so easy. It was my son's birthday and he 'loves' cheese cake. So I searched allrecipes and decided on this one. Pressed for time, I let my 9 year old and a very new at cooking 18 year old make this. No problems and it is so very good. Everyone loved it and we will have it again. Thanks.
