Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2015
Went according to the direction and it was a hit. Just a tip. I browned mine pretty crisp and they only required 20 minutes at 350 in the oven before pouring the soup mixture over them. I did leave them in for 30 minutes after the soup was added to insure everything came together.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2015
I am surprised by the 1,2, and 3 star reviews for this recipe. Those that did not like it probably don't like French Toast. I have made it many times and the only change I made was to use sugarless syrup instead of the brown sugar, syrup, butter mix. Try cutting the bread a little thinner and put a layer of sliced bananas between two layers of bread. If your oven is coming up to the correct temp you don't need to change a thing.

Best Ever Slow Cooker Italian Beef Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
Used 2/3 bottle of fat free Zesty Italian dressing instead of the dry mix. 1/2 can low sodium beef broth, 2 large onions quartered, 12 oz of sliced mushrooms, and the rest of the listed ingredients sans salt. Used corn starch with the remaining broth and it made a great sauce for smashed potatoes. It was a big hit at my house. I will add carrots the next time for even better results.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2013
Great basic idea, but I am lazy and took some shortcuts. I cut the chicken into 1 1/2 inch cubes, tossed them in a little olive oil, shook them in a plastic bag of bread crumbs and baked them until they were done. Lined the bottom of the dish with 1/2 inch uncooked rice then the ham, chicken, and cheese. Used 2 cans of soup and 1 cup of milk. Topped it with some crushed Ritz Crackers. There were no leftovers.

Tasty!! I followed directions and no, the bourbon (Woodford Reserve) wasn't overpowering. It's just like most every other dish... Use superior ingredients if you want superior results.

I added a slice of 2% american cheese inside each tortilla with the hot dogs and created another layer of onions only. It's a monthly favorite at our house.

Teriyaki and Pineapple Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
I tasted the sauce as I was cooking this and the red pepper made it too hot. We tried it anyway and to our surprise the pineapple offset the heat for a wonderful flavor. I grilled the chicken on my gas grill to avoid additional fats. This will be a regular dish in our house.
